La energía eólica sigue su curso en el país y avanza a paso firme a convertirse en uno de los aportes de renovables más importantes para Chile. Si hoy Chile presenta alrededor de 800 MW de potencia instalada concebida a través de los vientos, un número importante de centrales en construcción y la gran cantidad de proyectos aprobados o en vías de tramitación hacen suponer que la energía eólica jugará en el futuro un rol clave en la matriz energética chilena. Wind energy is ongoing in the country and is advancing firmly to become one of the most important contributions to Chile Renewable step. If Chile today has about 800 MW of installed power conceived by the winds, a significant number of plants under construction and the large number of approved or pending processing projects do assume that wind energy will play a key future role in the Chilean energy matrix.
