Michael Vargas is the founder and principal consultant of Atlas Project Support. This San Diego County based firm focuses on energy conservation, sustainable building practices and preconstruction services for public and private clients. Michael holds both academic and industry credentials and has more than 13 years of construction and project management experience.

In addition to his consulting business, Michael is a Professor in the Donald R. Tapia School of Business at Saint Leo University a Catholic University located in Florida and the San Diego State University College of Extended Studies as well as an instructor for Everblue. This educational component resonates throughout Michael’s professional life as he also conducts training in sustainable business practices for organizations and groups. Michael also donates his efforts in support of the San Diego State Foundation Energy Innovations Small Grant Technology Transfer Program at the Lavin Center as an MBA student mentor.
