Basisschool Noorderlicht

Basisschool Noorderlicht is nu nog gevestigd in twee gebouwen in het noorden van ’s-Hertogenbosch. In en bij de school zijn bovendien tussenschoolse opvang (overblijven), een kinderdagverblijf en naschoolse opvang gevestigd.

Basisschool Noorderlicht telt ongeveer 325 leerlingen en 25 medewerkers. Basisschool Noorderlicht is onderdeel van ATO (Algemeen Toegankelijk Onderwijs). Op onze school zijn, net als op de andere 18 Algemeen Toegankelijk Onderwijs scholen, in principe alle kinderen welkom. Ras, geloof, cultuur of afkomst zijn voor ons niet van belang. Alle kinderen zijn voor ons gelijk! We proberen een sfeer te creëren waarin kinderen zich prettig voelen en waarin respect voor de ander centraal staat. We voelen onszelf niet alleen leerkrachten, maar ook mede-opvoeders! Waarden en normen bijbrengen is voor ons net zo belangrijk als leren lezen of rekenen. Ouders zien we als partners!
