OBS De Plevier

Onze school De Plevier is een openbare basisschool met ruim 400 leerlingen.
De school is centraal gelegen in de kindvriendelijke wijk Boomgaardshoek.


De Plevier heeft in zijn missie de persoonlijke ontwikkeling van iedereen die bij de school is betrokken centraal staan en wij vertalen deze missie met het concept van The leader in Me. The Leader in Me werkt van uit het paradigma ‘ieder kind is een leider'.

Door anders te kijken, door potentie in de kinderen te zien en het hebben van (hoge) verwachtingen. Door de tijd nemen en aan de kinderen te vertellen wat je doet en hen niet vertelt wat ze moeten doen, door kleine stappen te zetten, door erin te geloven dat iedereen kwaliteiten heeft en als missie te nemen dat je talent wilt ontwikkelen.
