Zo veel mogelijk inwoners stimuleren om in beweging te komen en te blijven. Deze missie staat bij ons centraal. Wij werken aan een gezonde en vitale stad en gaan uit van de eigen kracht van de inwoners van Assen. Daarbij hebben wij oog voor de kwetsbaren in onze samenleving en werken wij samen met allerlei partners in de stad.

Ons werk bestaat uit het organiseren van verschillende beweegactiviteiten in de wijken en stedelijk. Daarnaast zijn wij actief binnen activiteiten die de gezondheid, integratie, sociale cohesie en participatie bevorderen. Gezonde leefstijl is daarbij de rode draad door al onze werkzaamheden.
