L' azienda Accornero fondata nel 1973 da Giovanni Accornero e dalla moglie Cristina, inziò con un piccolo magazzino in Asti.
Per fortuna in poco tempo la crescita del lavoro permise di spostare l'attività in locali più ampi.
Con la nuova sede iniziarono anche le prime assunzioni e si incominciarono a gettare le fondamenta di un’azienda basata sulle persone e sulle esigenze del cliente.
A metà degli anni 80 entrarono in azienda i figli Robero e Paolo che continuarono lo sviluppo dell’azienda anche dopo la morte di Giovanni avvenuta nel 1993.
Il 1994 si rivelò un altro anno difficile in quanto il 6 novembre un’alluvione colpì il sud del Piemonte e l’Accornero rimase gravemente colpita. La sede e i magazzini furono completamente sommersi. Cristina, Roberto e Paolo non si persero d’animo e, grazie all’aiuto di collaboratori, parenti e amici, in 15 giorni riuscirono a riprendere in pieno l’attività.
