Comodo Security & Antivirus

Constantly bugs me to update to their new app "comodo mobile security" why would i? When their new app doesnt have all the features of this one. No thanks. Will be uninstalling v2.8 & going back to v2.7 until i can find a suitable replacement.

Stop forcing the pop up get new update when we dont want it cause of less features support thxfully my kindle side loaded version doesnt bug me about this and actually works plus no ads on this version and my kinlde one yet the new version has ads? No im not that dumb to install it

Thanks for bringing this great all in one security app back to the Playstore.. A more modernized look would be awesome though. And please stop asking us to upgrade to the new app, especially if we like this one better.

Last update constantly nags to update to another version with less features and poorer UI. No way to turn off or block the nag message. Worse than being married! This version crashes when doing cloud scan on Android Gingerbread 2.3.6.

It does the job it keeps my phone safe and secure and that's all that matters. But the root access part is a turn off

Don't download... it's not even uninstalling.

I update to the new version and it wont uninsral the old app. Actually, the app cant be uninstalled at all now

Have been using Comodo on both my pc and phone for several years now and love it simplicity yet effectiveness. Sadly since upgrading my phone which is running android 4.4.2 some of the useful features are not available on Android 4.4 and above. Update.. sorry but since comodo have not updated to protect 5.0 lollipop I have since downloaded CM security and have to say I am very impressed.. it has found a number of potential threats that comodo appears to ignore.

The privacy protection lets you encrypt a picture which is nice. But when you go to decrypt a picture instead of decrypting the picture and putting it back where it came from it deleted them. I tried it only on pictures that did not really need. But if it would have been a picture of my mom who had passed away I would have been furious. I do a health check and it says virus database needs to be update but it says its updated but I go back to the health check it not updated Please fix and will give 5 stars.

Thank God I kept this old All in one version, It does it's own thing the way I'm loving it, Please update this all in one version, the new ones are not good as this one. Haven't they worked well on my phone the new versions. And give us direct help line for these phone apps. And we also need phone cooler.

This program came highly recommend from a friend. Unfortunately the system blocks numbers I don't want to be blocked. Furthermore it won't even do a full system virus scan without force closing. It randomly errors and quits. I have an S5 with the lollipop OS. Is it me doing something wrong or the app itself? Please fix or respond please.

So last month comodo just used 6kb. Which was fine. This month 250mb. What just happened???? I also had to deactivate it because it wouldnt suddenly install or update apps and kept notifying me that it updated the virus thing but i never gave it permission at all. I barely have data so i restrict everything. So I'm upset.

Please update some important features like permissions to android 5.0 and up. Also when I set it to automatically block potential junk calls it blocks calls from my mom and other important people automatically even after whitelisting them.

Reinstated to phone removed in matter of an hour wouldn't do a virus scan kept crashing. Have always used comodo until the last 3 months when same problem started stopped using it and uninstalled it. And thought I would try again I totally wished I hadn't bothered waste of my time completely .

This app used to work fine, but since I updated os to lollipop, it always force closes around a minute into either a quick or full scan, making this app now useless apart from the firewall facility. Sort it out Comodo!

I already trust 1 of our 2 desktops & our laptop to Comodo, moving to the paid & more robust security suite as soon as it became available. I'd used the free apps for years..When I saw it was available for my mobile, I installed it. When my old phone broke, & I got this one, I knew I had to find the link to the specific mobile software that had so.well-protected the old one. If I could, I'd try to get the other desktop - & his mobile - under Comodo's care, but our son is an adult & has his own preferences & I respect that...he does a great job protecting his computer & his mobile his way. My husband let me protect his mobile device with Comodo. I've trusted Comodo for a decade or more now & my trust has never been displaced. You can't go wrong with Comodo, IMONSHO.

First Great App - Take time to fully explore it, lots of features. To those saying it will not uninstall - Go to your ANDROID SETTINGS - GO TO SECURITY - FIND DEVICE ADMINISTRATORS - UNTICK COMODO - it is a security feature not a malicious action, it's to help stop (not guarantee 100%) accidental uninstallation or, worse - malicious apps uninstalling Comodo. Then go to the app in Play Store and deactivate/uninstall there. Or go to SETTINGS - APPS - tap on Comodo, FORCE STOP then UNINSTALL. Hope this helps those who find it's not for them/their device. Keep up the great work Comodo!

Blocking white listed numbers galaxy s4 .and my smart watch is revealing to me in real time that comodo is constantly updating database. Using lots of data.

App says some 'advanced' features unavailable, "This version of Android is not supported", on an Android 5.0 device. If not a year after an OS has been deployed, then when? Also no indication whetger Stagefright vulnerability patch is present. No comparison ar all to great Window application.

It's virus definition databases are not constantly updated.i haven't got any update on virus database in months. Why? Give solution tho this and you'll get 5 stars

I love how it's the only app on the market which actually blocks other apps' permissions. The antivirus itself is good as well.

When I am doing a health check it is prompting me to update the database and the database is showing up to date. Don't know database is actually updated or not.

It used to, now it says there are 0 running. And it blocks way too many calls, even when it's set to not block potential spam calls. WTF, it blocked a call from one of my contacts!! I'm finding a new app, that is unacceptable. There could be an emergency.

It blocks nearly every call to my phone, even if the number is white listed and in my contacts. Trying to uninstall it so I can receive calls but it won't let me.

Not liked can't uninstall it can not be deactivated it blocks important calls to my phone if the phone number is not in contacts it cuts them off it needs to be updated.

Uninstalled due to Comodo acting like a douche

Preferred the old version. Didn't allow deactivate to uninstall.

Since the launch of the new comodo this one keeps crashing cant en complete a task.tried the new comodo didnt like it reverted to this one

So the only point to this update was to introduce a nag screen to update to a less capable app?

I love this version, simple and do what i want but .... the new one i'ts so ... heavy .-. This one still in updates ?

Best even blocks unwanted calls

I use comodo on my PC free for years and now I can use it for free on tablet too.
