It is great to have an integrated app that combines schedule management and communication. You actually can send out an event invitation to your friends via SMS or IM. There's a corresponding chat room for each scheduled event so that you can duscuss this event with all invited members. My team use this app for daily commumication and team work task management. It is sample and eay to use.

can't even register as u need an id, the form to get ur id asks for phone number. And id. It says they will send but if you don't have an id you can't submit the form!
