I have not tried the free feature but if you buy this app, you will love it, even scanned pdf documments can be converted to editable excel within a minute.

Tried converting on my laptop and the format got all screwed up. This app did the trick. Now all I need to do is create my formulas. Really helped to cut down on the time I would have spent typing everything out from the PDF file.
