Getpos is a free and user friendly application which allows you to view your position in coordinate form.
The tracking works either by the network provider or by the more accurate GPS.
Furthermore the accuracy and an address of the coordinates is displayed when an Internet connection is available.
The relative position is also easy to save after you enter a title for it. You can edit the entries as well.

I started the program three times and it stopped three times. So it is totally useless.

I like that this is small, simple and fast to load (and works on my Android 2)! I use it to save plant locations and particularly like the accuracy measure. One thing that would be a big improvement would be to be able to copy to a computer the saved locations, even if by just saving as a file one can then copy by USB (I can't spot such a file), and also would be useful to save the accuracy (m) with the location. Cheers, david
