YMCA of the Triangle

I thought when I got this app that I would get push notifications for things like the facility closing early, the pool not being open because of a technical or weather issue, etc. I can't tell you how many times I have gone to swim (after checking the app) and arrived to find the pool closed because a heater was broken or something like that. And the only place you find out about it is at the registration desk after you've already driven all the way there. That makes the app less than useful to me. In addition, they don't update class schedules, etc, when they do close early (they don't do this on their web site, either, though), including when they close for holiday hours. Lots needs to be done to make this an app that is actually useful.

Will force stop for no apparent reason. Under group fitness I have to hit the arrow for the next day about 5 times before it responds. In this day and age it is unacceptable. Full movies load on my phone faster.

Text notifications disappear when you try to open them to read the entire message. They just become a link that opens the app to the home page. Daily class schedules are nice, as well as being able to click on the class to get a description , but navigating through the app is slow.

Better app, but it's slow. Clicking on the Group option causes a load to happen... But the call is not showing a loader nor is it a cancelable action. Also, all the "zooming" page transitions make the experience feel clunky. Pressing back button, last page loads, but includes unnecessary page transition.

Facility status says open even when they are actually closed due to inclement weather

Y employee told me about app so i was excited ~ thought I could reg. the kids for camps etc. NOT a chance ~ it doesn't even tell you what's going on at the pool and there are no descriptions of classes... very disappointed ~ hope next update fixes these things.

This app is extremely basic. Basic to the point of you should just go to the website, easy enough on a smart phone. Has odd permissions I.e. services that cost you money~directly call phone numbers. Not sure why that permission is necessary. This app could be cool with more information, work, and creativity.

Galaxy nexus with ice cream sandwich. Opens but then only option is to find another location which force closes when you select it

I was hesitant based on some of the reviews. But I had no problem getting Cary y info and it is easy to use so far

The Kerr Y isn't listed... The app shouldn't be called YMCA of the Triangle. It should just say Finley.

App was fine before update 5/22. Update got rid of the Hope Valley Y. App was hit or miss to begin with and would usually crash on start up but at least it had my local Y and was good for a quick check if the days classes. Useless now they got rid of Hope Valley. Uninstall.

Works, sometimes Does not handle multiple Y usage well. forgets currently selected Y and crashes. Top left right arrow buttons don't work first press most of the time. Push notifications is broken. No search or aggregation (e.g. show all yoga classes). No ability to add event to calendar.
