YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap

I love this ap!! It actually gives me motivation to workout because it shows the class schedules and time frames. I also love how I can just use my phone to get into the Y so I don't have to have my card or worry about remembering to bring my card with me. I am now a cancer survivor!! I finished my last treatment just a few days ago and the Y has a program called Live strong for survivors like myself. It's a free 12 week program that helps with gaining your strength, balancing, meditation, and confidence. If you know someone with cancer, let them know about this program. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!! Oh, would also like to mention to new users, that the bad reviews must be old because I have no issues at all with seeing the pool classes, laps, etc.

Lap swimmers and other pool users would appreciate being able to see what is going on in the main pool lap lanes. And to tell how busy the pool is. Most important is the info on how many lap lanes are available to lap swimmers at a given block of time. The old schedule was much more helpful to all swimmers, as we could see the periods of time when it becomes a loud busy place, and more likely to be unenjoyable for us adults that just want to workout swimming laps.

The old app was better. You paid for this?

I prefer the version that was available when Gordon opened in 2015. Also the time is off for the calendar feature. Pretty sure I'm not taking a Gentle Yoga class at 2:15 AM. Fix this and I'd add a star and a half.

Useless app! Older app was way better .this is not an upgrade! Disappointed! !

Bremerton location was the only one showing class achedules. Had to call lakewood & others to get sched info. And was told it was working! Not very well in my opinion! Hope u can get the bugs out!

Bring back the old app. On the old app it was easier to determine at a glance, the number of lap lanes open for lap swimming. And the front page looks like the developer has no clue how to display the number fonts underneath the days of the week. Putting the dates on top of the days of the week, looks like a poorly formated home page. I am so disappointed in this unhelpful upgrade. The ymca should get the money they paid the Web developer back. Upgrade no . The developer basically screwed up.

Why would I want to sort through what seems like an endless list to find fitness classes? Bring back the old design.

Not as user friendly as previous version. Difficult to scan class schedules and membership barcode is not convenient.

Terrible. Really, really, poor design. Almost unbelieveably bad.

This upgrade is not visually appealing. It makes it hard to sort through classes. Takes too much time to load contact.

Latest updates require access to my camera and my WiFi info. Why?

Only forced close. I can't do anything w/ this app except the membership barcode. Please fix, I would love to use this app.

Good handy and very useful. I like not having to worry about whether I have my membership card with me or not. To the person that complained the app thought you were in WA... You do realize this app is only for the YMCA in Pierce and Kitsap Counties, Washington, right? For the person who complained about the app having permission to make phone calls... It's a pretty standard permission that allows them to have a link in their app to make calling the Y more convenient for you. I don't think the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is going to be making secret calls to China on your cell phone.

Used to work on my moto droid but doesn't on my new phone. Please fix, I really liked this app.

Wtf I've tried to download this app 5 times to get my location right and it doesn't. Says i'm in Washington when I love in Ohio and it won't let me correct it!!

unfortunately it can't help people from Tennessee realize that Kitsap county is in WA. see wikipedia for details.

Works fine on my wife's MyTouch and it worked fine on my old G2x. Just got the Galaxy S3 and it forces close on Find My YMCA. Seems like all the people having problems have ICS devices. Will change rating when ICS support happens.

This app DID work, but now all it does is force close. Please fix, I love this app when it works.

If you want to quickly look for class schedules on your phone, call your Y, or check in with your phone this app works great. Other features need some work... If you add an event to your calendar it'll show up on your phone's calendar, but it magically disappears with no rhyme or reason that I can come up with. Also, the facility status (for Puyallup anyway) and events are seemingly always "unavailable" but the website has both...
