SEWING STUFF:

Track your sewing essentials like:
- fabrics
- sewing machines
- sewing machine feet
- thread
- sewing patterns
- friends (people's measurements)

For each of the categories above, Sew Awesome allows seamstresses to store a picture of each item, along with detailed information for each category. For example, the fabrics section allows seamstresses to store a picture, along with the name, status, width, yardage, contents, type, stretch, cafe info, brand, item number, and any other notes you'd like to keep.

SEWING TOOLS:

Handy sewing tools like:
- inches-to-yards converter
- thread converter to convert between weight, denier, and tex
- ruler
- flashlight

SEWING REFERENCE:

The sewing reference section contains pages for:
- General sewing terminology
- Sewing machine diagrams
- Sewing machine needle diagrams and types
- Sewing machine needle size conversions

Sew Awesome allows seamstresses to capture images either from your gallery or directly from your camera. Track all of your sewing projects in one easy place!

How do i get the pro version? I am afraid if something happens to my device, all of my hard work in putting all of my information would be lost. It would be great if i could work from either my tablet or phone. Its so easy to put in all of your information. So glad i found this app. Really want the pro version before i go any further!

L70%
by L####:

Would be much better if adapted for UK ie: cm & metres. Yardage chart isn't much use to me nor is inches to yards chart. Also, sizing chart has US & European but no UK. If these things were included then I would give more stars

Paid for upgrade and it doesn't operate as it should.Update 9/8/16 : Contacted the developer months ago and they couldn't or didn't tell me what was wrong. I thought it was my phone so I left the situation alone. Few months later I get a new phone; assume that app will work. No go. Contacted developer who did not resolve the issue.

I got this for my compliance logging & my stash is still quite small. I have a few suggestions. FIRST: A designated place for a price per yd would be great. 2nd: Being able to make folders for the types of fabric.. because I'm sure once I have about a hundred they will be difficult to find ;) 3rd: Location bought as well (but I'm using another line for this & that works) FORTH: PLEASE!! Please please make it auto-capitalize the first letters loly biggest peeve!! & lastly... it won't let me type anymore :/

It's *exactly* what I need/needed to keep all my sewing kit and fabrics in order - carnage was ensuing, and this will help massively when it comes to keeping stuff organised. A wee ways to go with visuals & functionality, and a few bugs to work out, but still - eminently usable and worth paying for to support the dev.

I was only able to save pictures of three patterns so far. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I did upgrade to pro right away, hope I didn't make a mistake....any suggestions?? Thank you so much

I LOVE that you can store your friends measurements this feature really comes in handy when sewing for my family. I also love having access to my patterns on the go! This helps me not buy patterns I already have which I apparently do a lot. I'm not a huge fan of the manual input for the patterns but currently this is the easiest way to keep an accurate inventory. It takes a lot to get everything all set up adding fabric and patterns. But overall the time investment is completely worth it!!

Even the most basic features require purchase. Oh the ruler is free, but I have plenty of those thanks. Disappointed.

I bought this app about 6 months ago. I haven't used it to it's fullest capability, but it does what I wanted. I had contacted the developer with a request. I never heard back from him, but my suggestion is now part of the app. I don't know whether my suggestion is what prompted the function or not.

This is so great. It saves me a lot of time and physical strain by lifting and looking through boxes of patterns and material. I am so excited to get busy cataloging my supply of sewing items!!!

Looks to be a great app. However would it be possible to make a link for Amazon in the UK? I would not be the only person to be thrilled if you could sort this. Many thanks. Perry.

I have been searching for an app like this for a long time, as I have tons of fabric, notions, patterns and sewing machines. I want to be able to look at the fabric and patterns I already own so I can plan projects and not duplicate purchases.

Only imperial measurements. Shop - Amazon (I don't). Needs to have more flexibility (there's people outside of the US who have phones too).

I love this. I was just about to start listing my stash by hand...but this makes it easy peasy. I'd have liked some quickstart instructions, but it's quite intuitive. I upgraded to pro wiyhin 5 minutes of trying it. A perfect 'stock control' tool.

M70%
by M####:

You can load all of your stuff but you cannot pick fabric, a pattern, and thread then move to a workspace to see how they all work together.

M70%

Just what I was looking for. A nice additional feature would be a "my projects" selection to be able to input a pic, type of project (craft, clothing, accessory, etc.) ability to put notes about specs of said project, etc.

X70%
by X####:

I love what is already here and quickly paid for the full version, but I also have a few future "wants" that would be awesome. 1. Ability to search by specific fields (Type, Company, Status...) 2. A place to keep track of current and future projects (paying/donation/fair, due date, customer info...) 3. Fields that expand to accommodate longer bits of information instead of scrolling on the line. This app has given me 1 place to keep almost everything organized and on hand. LOVE IT!

My Feet section needs a field to indicate which Machine the foot (or accessory) works with. Choice needs to be picklist form My Machines section. As well as feet I have been putting other machine accessories into the My Feet section - for example stitch plates, hoops, edge guide, bobbin case, bobbins, pintuck blades, thread stands, etc

Well but if you pay for it, it registers the same as the free, you don't get the extra content. Also if you change phones, you lose everything.

Great way to keep track of fabric, ribbon, buttons, and all of the miscellaneous things sewers/crafters collect! I've upgraded to the "Pro" version!

Absolutely love this! At the moment I have no new ideas for improvements.

So far so good! I wish there was a desktop site, but I loved the app enough to buy the full version. Easy to use and a very simple interface.

App crashed when I tried to save data.

You need sub folders in fabrics to group catagories and a search function would be good. When you can have over 150 fabrics a search or sub category would be perfect

Takes forever to set up the inventory, but once it's done the app is a godsend. The charts and tools are amazing!

J70%

Great to have a stock list but would like a my projects section too like on knit buddy. Please.

Love knowing what feet I have for when I go shopping. Also like have my Fabric's pictures so I know what to buy and what not to buy. Great app.

So far this is what I'm looking for. It's hard to take a picture upright. I did upgrade because it has most of the features I needed.

The links to Amazon etc are to the USA sites. Needs a choice of country and links within that country.

M70%

Love it so far, but forgive me for being picky, it would be super if you could pick different themes or backgrounds for the app interface. Thanks for the app!

Perfect! And if u run into a slight glitch, the developer is awesome. Will expeditiously communicate with you. I absolutely love it. I'm purchasing the upgrade and have shared with several colleagues. It is wonderful to have the ability to see your inventory in the palm if your hand!! Great going!!

Love this app, it's so helpful. Thank you thank you thank you. I can't think of anything I would add to it, it's sew awesome!

I actually paid for this because I thought it was a good idea, however it's more trouble than it's worth for me. Apart from the fact it has stopped working altogether now, it caused my phone HTC to misbehave also. The other thing is, I find it much easier to keep photos on my phone of what I have or what I need. The app makes it too burdensome to enter items and keep updated. Uninstalling.

Fab app!! Great for keeping all your sewing fabrics, measurements etc all in one place instead of having to search! Great that you can photo your fabric too!

This is going to help me so much, I have had some strokes in the past and I forget what I have and what I need . This is going to keep me from buying twice. Very cool! Two thumbs up.

M70%
by M####:

I like this because it helps me to list what fabrics I have. I purchased it , exported data to another phone and the photos are not included! So useless!

M70%
by M####:

It holds a ton of information I usually have to look up (general terms, conversions, my friend's measurements) I'm excited for future upgrades. Developer is quick reponder to questions.

S70%
by S####:

Have trouble getting it to save image every time. Does not show all my fabrics every time I open it. Buggy but great idea

M70%
by M####:

The ruler is nice, but an inch to cm converter would be nice for all of us in continental Europe! Or a choice of measuring units - and a place to store your body measurements. Otherwise it's great.
