If proper flag etiquette is important then this is your app. Update: The app lists my state as Idaho and won't change it. I've been there once but passing through doesn't count as residing there, does it?

This is what I was looking for! Being a Vet myself I proudly fly our flag in our front yard on 20' pole with 2 lights on it. Problem was I never knew when lower the flag to half mast until now. Thank you for an awesome app!

I am a retired Navy veteran, and fly the flag at home as well as work. I rely on this app to keep me posted on the flag status. I like that I am kept current on state issues, so that I can lower the flag in honor of local officials as well as federal.

Gives up to the minute updates. I always check before flying the flag at work. I don't know how I would properly show my respect for my country and those who serve without the app.

I'm the only house in the neighborhood to fly the flag , I have three flagpoles one 16' for MIAs , one 20' for Old Glory and another one 16' for Don't Tread on Me. I keep them lit 24 hours a day, and now this app helps me make sure I fly her at half staff when it's called for, thank you

I fly a 5x8/ American for flag at home and I do keep her lit up at night. And this app is very helpful. I lower my flag every time I get a notification. Not only do I use this app I also get an Email from the State of Indiana when to lower my flag.

I consulted the app in the aftermath of the Las Vegas tragedy for information, and was advised to fly at half staff, and for how long. Impressive response time.

App incorrectly reported flags at half staff on April 5th for John Glenn when the actual day was April 6th. App cannot be relied on for accurate information.

Anybody who considers themselves a patriotic American or has a business with flagstaff's out front needs this app. So many citizens truly love and respect this great Country but doesn't possess the knowledge to properly display or even know the appropriate times when to, be it full or half staff. Stand for the Flag and our National Anthem, kneel for the one true God, and pray that our leaders have the faith and wisdom of the Founding Fathers. As a flag owner, knowing when to have my flag at full staff or half staff is very important. This app provides that notification early enough that I can address the change before half the day is gone.

It is a good app but has a few quirks. Definitely has all the info for properly displaying the flag and nice reminders when to flyat half staff. Even brings in State governor half staff events.
