Lost My Voice for Android
I can type a message and show it to people. How do you save common messages to retrieve? And when I hit the microphone it doesn't do anything, even though I downloaded the voice recommended.
perfect exactly what I wanted no nonsense. not too many buttons or useless options simply text and click microphone uses Google search lady voice. I've never messed with voice options in Google so no idea if you can change default female voice to male. but I just want to be understood so I'm not bothers by gender of the voice.
Voice is extremely fast when played out loud. No menu option to play with the speech voice on my phone

Very simple and does what it says. I only wish it had an option of what type of voice says my text.
Would have given it 5 stars if there were a settings button for things like voice volume or font size but it's still a good app though a bit simple.
Bc I lost my voice and it helps me a lot

I have a neurological disorder called Myasthenia Gravis that affects the voluntary muscles of the body. For me, it mostly affects my facial, tongue, jaw, and swallowing muscles. It order for me to eat, I have to not speak for a couple of hours, to allow me to have the muscle strength to manipulate food to the back of my mouth and then swallow. This app allows me to still be a part of conversations, and I'm quite appreciative. I do wish you could choose a gender for the voice though.
