CoffeeStrap is the best way to get fluent in a language you are learning. How? We just give you access to the right conversational partners, modulated on your language level, and on your interests. No boring and paid content, just fun and free interaction.
If you text and/or talk with somebody on CoffeeStrap, our algorithms detect what languages you are speaking, and measure your improvement.
You earn Karma by texting and speaking in your own language(s). Karma scores your reputation: it measures how much you are willing to help other people. You get Karma Points every time you chat in your language with people that do not speak it natively.
You earn Progress by texting and speaking in the language(s) you want to improve. Progress scores your fluency: it measures how fast you are getting more and more fluent. You get Progress Points every time you make some progress in your non native language(s).
You can find natives in 12 languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Russian.

There's no way to block somebody or whatsoever. There's someone I don't want to speak to and still I get a notification EVERY SINGLE DAY to "break the ice".

Nothing has improved since my last review. There is no way to check someone's profile unless you accept their language request. Just constant language requests without knowing if they'd benefit what you're trying to learn. It would be nice if you could correct your partner's messages so they would know how to properly write in the language, like Lang8.

I can't unsubscribe from their notification emails and I can't reset my password either, as their link doesn't work. Total crap app that now spams my inbox with irrelevant notifications.

I am curious and excited for the first time with this app. I think this app can help me so I install this. But I can't sign with fb and sign up. Unfortunately this problem has existed since some years ago. Hope this problem will be fixed soon.
