Solo for Android
Before I upgraded I was able to play songs with ease on my HTC Thunderbolt. I now realize that regardless of animations being turned off and audio engine selection, the interface is now plagued with lags, missed notes, and slow framework.
I am able to store chords but for some reason it's like there's a dead spot on my HTC One screen when I try to recall a set of chords, therefore I cannot use the app in performance because I can't be fiddling around trying to recall chords when it works like 1% of the time.
Where can I get more chords? 10 is not enough!!
A great purchase... Very pleased :-D
Great app
Awesome guitar app. updates regularly & productively. If you've seen the rest, now try the best. this app has improved so much since I 1st installed it. All the updates I've installed are productive & useful in the real world. It just keeps getting better & better. This last update now allows recording, awesome. Watch the attached youtubes to see what this can do in the hands of the developer. He knows it well enough to maximize it's full potential. Sincerely, William McDonald S4 I9500 (Rooted)
Long time user here. This app was always a lot of fun to play with on my past 2 droids, loved to show it off to my musician friends. With my new LG G4, it takes forever to load chord changes and crashes frequently when switching between functions. Crashes reported. ***developer responded immediately with a fix (settings/audio engine/select #2)***
Stellar app. Always has been. (Amateur guitarist opinion.)
I am also getting the missed strums on s4 ,I never had any problems before the update I wish we could get a different overlay other than ultimate-guitar which seems to freeze up and just say sign in to membership. Overlay sucks more options on paid version please.
@Sarah. Fine, you have your victory...Not like I gave this a bad rating or anything. Thanks for clearing the air in such a pleasant manner :)
My HTC one updated and now it will not even load...it just hangs and says "installing chords"! Very disappointed , it WAS kind of cool!
Great
I find that doodling with this just brings out ideas that thren get tried out on my guitar. The sound samples play beautifully and I am hooked.

The app is great. I have been using this app for probably a year before buying. Finally, I bought it and I couldn't be happier. I like to play individual frets and noticed that it was not remembering my fret range. I was able to VERY easily send the developer an email from within the application (while still fresh in my mind). The Coding Caveman replied promptly with a professional, courteous email and included my request in this latest version! Thanks Caveman!!
Recently it takes way too long to load chords and I have to close it. Please fix. Nexus 4 running Lollipop.
Stellar app. Always has been. (Amateur guitarist opinion.)
Love it, got the paid version, my nephew plays with it all the time
Note: took very long time (minutes) "loading chords" on nexus 7 w Android 5.0.3, with Audio Engine 3 selected. To fix, wait it out, and then switch to #2. Review:Very nice. Clicks on nylon string sound in older versions are fixed; it now sounds like it really needs new strings though.
Hasn't failed me yet!
Had the lite version of this app and decided to go for the Pro version to add more features and remove the adds. I'm very pleased and want to thank the developer(s). Don't really understand all the negative comments as the app is flawless. If you have a low end smart phone and software issues then the app shouldn't be on your handset or the negative comments.
I can't play this App...because of that is asking Unfortunately stop and force close everytime on my samsung android 4.4.2...How could I fix it....?

Wtf happened? Used 2 luv it, it was user friendly, I could set chords for a song then go 2 the guitar & play the song; now it's gone crazy! Started out only playing E flat, wouldn't let me add chords, then after exiting & returning, it had some fret range thing to set but wouldn't set in the "free version". I purchased it on another phone, and it says purchased when I search playstore, but then it says install on the page. Is all this because I need to install it? Will I get charged again?

Got what I wanted!
Can't hammer on / pull off strings, making it feel more like a keyboard than a stringed instrument, if playing an open E string than pressing & holding the third fret G it continues to play E note regardless making it impossible to actually play it like a guitar, changing chords with any speed is impossible as the app cant keep up, slides/bends/vibrato also non existent, still along way to go before remotely emulating a guitar
Only app I've paid for...very cool
It only plays one or two strings at a time so it i cant really play songs on it
Chords, Fret mode, Electric and Acoustic guitars, Vibrating strings! This really performs on the Nexus 7, love playing it during t.v. commercials, sometimes I even jam along with the CSI sound tracks! Having loads of fun, thanks for the hard work Coding Caveman, you rock! Additional: YOU still rock! Excellent updates!
This is the best guitar app that I have ever seen. I have been using this for 5 years and it just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work.
New update makes the audio sluggish PLEASE FIX!!! UPDATE: STILL...the audio when playing cords still LAGS!!! FIX! Amaze 4G
Best guitar app period. It produces the most accurate reprodution of guitar tones in any guitar app to date. It is well worth purchasing the upgrade. I have it on my Galaxy S5 and 10.1 Pad. Thank you for producing this must have guitar app! .
I love doritos
Had this for the longest time! Love it!
I have string animations on so from visual feedback I know my touches are registering. Just no sound is produced sometimes, usually when strumming across several notes. Nexus 5, 4.4.2 | UPDATE: Thanks for the reply, dev. Audio Engine 1 works; I wouldn't have thought to try it given the mismatch between its in-app description and my device...
I have enjoyed this app on all my previous devices and now I'm enjoying it on my Note 3 and Note 10.1. :) Worth every penny.
I really want to use the overlay feature to see chord music while I play, but it keeps crashing when I press Use Overlay button. Edit: Guitar Solo update 5/18/2014: It doesn't crash anymore when I use the overlay feature, but I can't scroll the overlay. When I press Use Overlay on the certain section of the webpage I want to overlay, it overlays the top-left corner of the webpage, and I can't scroll it after overlaying.

Like the app. The amount of options and frills are amazing. I like exploring all the different alternatives in this app. However, I've experimented myself into a corner and can't get the app back to the original settings. Is there an option for this and I just haven't found it???
