TES Jobs

Used to be great. Now when you filter a category it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. If you're lucky and it does filter down, as soon as you enter a job to read it, it loses the filter and goes back to the top of the listings! Very user unfriendly and needs an urgent overhaul.

I am unable to apply for jobs via the app. There also isn't an option to log in to your tes account. It would be useful if this could be fixed.

Way toooo slow. Dont waste your time.

Map view has an error banner across the middle and I have the latest version. Does not link with TES account. Poor display of search results. Might as well use the main site on my device.

Not good. Location services don't work, difficult to use interface and really slow. Use the website on your phone instead.

Does not filter accurately, if at all. Irritating back facility that takes you to the top of the list. Poor categorisation of jobs.

It doesn't allow me to search by schools in my area. Keeps saying 'problems with the maps (Bing??)'

It is a shame it does not allow people to search for job related to their subjects!!!

Pressed international and it gave me all uk jobs. Tried numerous times. Waste of time.

I thought it can't be as bad as the other reviews make out, but I was wrong, it is probably worse.

Job title is limited by characters, so half the time you don't know what "Teacher of..." is actually looking for. If you click onto a post link and then return back to the list, you're automatically returned to the top of it. Maps function doesn't work. A true waste of time!

Slow and limited. Most irritating thing is when you hit back after looking at a post it takes you all the way back to the beginning rather than however far down you got.

Rubbish, slow app. I wish I had another two hands up so I could give it four thumbs down.

Very difficult to filter by location unless I'm missing a trick! If there is a way it's not very clear!

The Near You feature doesn't work and I can't put in any search parameters.

Search for jobs. ..find one. ..look at it. ...can't save it. . Only way I found was to email to myself. ..go back and you go back to the top of the list! Waste of time. ...

How stupid is it not to allow people to search for job related to their subjects!!!

When looking at any map there is a bar halfway across the screen that says "The specified credentials are invalid. You can sign up for a free developer account at bingmaps." So can't see the map properly, then the pins disappear so have given up looking at maps on it. Also you can't seem to search by distance from a postcode which would be the most useful for me as I'm looking in an area that crosses over different areas the way TES has split the country.

Not very well thought through. You don't have the options that are in the web version, which are the most useful ones! Needs to be redisigned.

Couldn't select more than one option in each filter. Couldn't save a search. Pretty pointless really.

Drives me nuts that the back button doesn't work for this app.

Website has more search filters. E.g. sector, location by distance from post code

Shows old, expired jobs, doesn't have anyway to sign into your TES account. Better off just making a browser shortcut to the website, which makes this app pointless.

The search on the main TES website is almost exactly how a job search should be done. I don't want an app that tries to guess what jobs I will be interested in, or an app that makes it difficult to search for jobs in Asia or the Middle East. Make it work please. You must know how people use the website. Make this the same but better.

When you view details of a post and return to results page it takes you back to the top of the page. Very annoying as you have to scroll all the way back through to find the last post you were up to.

This is a disservice to subscribers of the TES. Terrible, slow app. Use the website instead.

After viewing a job, the app takes you back to the top of all jobs list every time! Have to scroll back to where you were on the list before and this is highly annoying esp if you are already a long way down the list. Please fix this so you are always taken back to where you were..

If had paid to advertise a job on this I would want a refund. I cannot search for a specific area/job type. Will delete after this review.
