Police Scanner

I've been going through most of these apps and this one sounded good. Unfortunately, it's not downloading. The bar is stuck on "installing". Been waiting too long. I give up.

I have tried different stations and nothing is playing. I have a Samsung galaxy 4 and if the problem of the stations playing and fixed I will give it a better rating, but the overall app itself is alright.

I love this app but the last coupe days it is not working and it is about a min slow to the one my hubby has. Also is there a chance to add the code space were you put the code in an it pops up what it means.

Only using it since I work graveyard security. But my only problem is that the local pd uses Q codes and it's not listed in the codes list, so I'm missing out on majority of the transmissions

It doesn't work in Newaygo MI they have it blocked so no one can document theyre corruption. Other than that it works very well.

Where's my county? City? Installed hoping to find out why all the emergency services in my town were going nuts only to find the closest feed available is over 20 miles away.

Does not work at all always buffering cannot get a single at all that sucks just downloaded it. It had alot of gud reviews. But I don't care you it's a boring app.

All kinds of police activity next door and these stupid apps won't install. Never had app installation trouble ever!!!

This does nothing but buffer. Nothing at all. I've set it on many of the top 100 scanner feeds in this app and left it buffering for up to 8 minutes before switching to another of it's top 100 scanner feeds to see whether I could get ANY of them to play. Nothing but buffering...buffering...buffering...very frustrating! Not sure why a lot of reviews are mostly good. I have several other Police Scanner programs on my Note 3 and they all work. This one DOES NOT! Uninstalling it now... Buffering...buffering...buffering...

Awesome app! Will gladly give 5 stars when there's a fix for a little problem I'm having. Every time I switch to another app roughly 5 minutes later give or take, I have to re open this app to get it to continue streaming. Its just a tad of an annoyance otherwise I love the app.

After 10 minutes waiting constantly hitting play and seeing buffering, nothing played. Everything I tried same result. Says stream stopped. Back to the market to fond another.

Why would I download a free app here. Then Download another app, some place else, pay $10.00 to utilize the app You are offering free here? There are a couple commentors informing Everyone else on here we are short circuited in the brain. I feel since you are so intelligent, you should instruct the remainder of us what we can do to enhance the performance of the product once we have downloaded it for free, without degrading OUR intellect. We can feel your frustration, but we are frustrated also.

Total waste of time and space. All it does is "buffer signal" whatever that means--what year is this, 1992? Also, I live in a little town with its own police force...but neither the police force nor other IN TOWN emergency services are listed or accessible. What gives?

I really liked the layout of this app but every time I try and access a feed, the app will stop playing it and I have to hit play again. I have it on the main screen of the app constantly so I don't understand why this is happening...very frustrating and very dissapointed. This issue should really be resolved

The program does not work with my phone location. Then it just buffers endlessly when I choose a feed manually. Not many feeds to choose from, especially in my suburban, highly populous, crime-ridden area. I'd like to be able to use this, particularly without having to use my phone's location. Perhaps with a zip code search instead.

Won't even play half of the scanner feed. Won't even buffer at all. Not even the scanner feed where my mom is at. Sucks. I can't even get where my son is at either. It even stops working when I select a county too. I'm uninstalling real quick. If you want a good scanner look at Gordon Edward. Best I have. If you live in North Carolina. Be aware New Hanover county is not on the feed at all. This one does but don't work

I use this to listen to whats going on, where my children live, as they dont live with me. Their mom chooses to live in a high crime area, so I monitor that area. God forbid I hear any of my kids names being ran by LAW ENFORCEMENT.

I would like to give this app 5star but I cannot get any feeds to work in Montana and there's not any feeds for my area of silverbow county/Butte Montana. It works great for other cities and I would recommend it for those in states with larger cities.

Annoying nag screen in notifications. Too many permissions. Otherwise its great but I dont like all the backgrpund chatter or random network traffic. Too many droid apps imvade your privacy. Shpuld have expected the same from a police scanner

This app works fine, especially in area where drugs and thefts abound. Honestly, I'll listen to this app & another one on separate fone to make sure there's nothing going on when I need to step outside to walk my dogs or walk to local store. I appreciate the people who try to develop anything that benefits us & they offer it free for us to use without first buying it. Thanks developers, for more than you realize with your creativity.

Can't get it to pick up anything within the LA area. Not useful if nothing comes in. Will be deleting this app... I just installed another app that is picking up numerous agencies in the LA area.

You get the point. Tried 8 different feeds on both wifi and data signal. 0 of them got past buffering. Annoyed, uninstalling. Gordon Edwards' Scanner Radio app is 2 billion light years beyond this one. Feeds there load in about 3 seconds. I'll stick with his app.

Trying to listen to USA, Indiana, Montgomery County, Crawfordsville Police Department. My city of residence. Will not stream. Pops up buffering then stops and will not stream. Says stream stopped. Please fix and I will rate 5 stars.

The station I wanna listen to doesn't play. It buffers then says buffering stopped. An it just repeats that an never plays. But the other stations work.fix the Sullivan county police station! That's the only one I wanna listen to.

This application is alright. It takes awhile to load on a normal basis. I would like to see the location improve as well. It doesn't actually give me any of local stations around me, I have to favorite my local stations just so I can find them.

I downloaded this app, an left it on a hour solid never heard a thing coming from the scanner, THIS APP IS A JOKE!!!

It's about time they put my city back up on the map! I haven't heard any activity or ANYTHING for that matter yet but at least I can tune in and see what happens.

Love this app it keeps you informed of what's going on and where the roadblocks are at and keeps you informed of any accidents and hoping that is not your family keep up the good work and it might need little improvement better than that it's a pretty good app

I can't get past the buffering just like many others feedback I read. I do like the fact they have the codes. But what good is it when you can't get it to work. My friend recommended this app. His works great. Unfortunately mine not so well. Very disappointed! I was Sooo looking forward to this.

This is an excellent scanner . Not only does it have superb audio quality ,you can save your favorites. Having the codes right at your fingertips is an awesome feature as well. I am sure there is room for improvement but developers get no complaints from me. Thank-you for hard work and dedication. ps... app works just as well on nook hd+ as my LG volt

I come from a family a cops and its great top be able to listen in and see how things are going locally. I've tried a # of apps and this one is by far the best...a few mite channels wouldn't hurt though : )~

wtf! i only have denver, co saved as favorite. when i minimize to taskbar and drop back down it ALWAYS changes to queensland australia! i never even looked at that station need not say obviously it is NOT selected as a favorite! junk, uninstalling!

Same transmission different reciever however after working with this app for an hour it would only buffer the closest source to me after fifteen minutes of waiting. I tried to use other local sources and itt froze everytime. UNINSTALLING

Works great on my phone. Helped keep me away from accident congestion the day I installed app. Connects quickly just about anywhere.

It does stream and I like that it offers the police codes, but the streaming could be better. I also like that it offers different cities and states to listen to.

I down loaded this app and it doesn't play any sound for any thing I choose at all. It says buffering and I let it finish. then I press play but still nothing. any ideas before I delete it?
