Screen Off

This simple utility turns the screen off (an turn on later from Always On Display), just tap the app icon to turn the screen off. It helps enlong the life of your device power button.

You can choose to lock the device as an Administrator when turning off, this ensure your screen is protected by PIN code when someone tries to turn it on later. If you choose not to use lock, the screen is turned off using time-out method, so you can use fingerprint to unlock it later (if it has one), very convenient.

For devices having Always On Display (such as Samsung Galaxy S7), a Screen On button is added onto that Always On Display, you can double tap the button to turn on the screen without using power button.

Screen Off requires Administrator Permission for locking the device or Write Setting Permission for turning off the screen with time-out method.

If Automatic is checked, the app turn screen off when you tap the app icon on home screen.

When the screen is dimming out and going to turn off, you can tap it to open the main setting screen and cancel the Automatic option.
