Bookmark Folder

No longer works with chrome freezes at share pick list or if it arrives at the create stage kills chrome and i have to reload. Has gone from excellent/superb and constantly improved to almost useless Feb 2017. contacting by email for support on this issue.

The idea es great, but it does not work. Firefox is set as the default browser in my mobile, and I set it in the app too, but in never import nothing from nowhere. I have only 3 browsers, Chrome, Firefox and one that comes with the phone; it just does not import nothing from nowhere. The only way I found to put bookmark into the app is by sharing from Firefox to the app one by one. It results ridiculous. Fix it and I'll change your stars.

If it would integrate the bookmarks when using an SD card to transfer to another device instead of having to replace all, I could live with the inability to sync.

resources I would never be able to find again are now at my fingertips. Folders make it easy to make catagories. Just what I was looking for. Have used now for about a year, wouldn't be without it.

After my initial issue of importing bookmarks from other browsers which was explained by the developer and persisting with the app I think this is a great bookmarks app. It's so easy to organize bookmarks with folders/subfolders. Stick with it, it's worth the initial time to save all your favourites. Be awesome if at some point you could develop a synch option too. Considering buying the app to remove adverts.

Love this app. However lately the app has been freezing up for like 3-4 seconds. Then acts normal. But does this each time i freshly open. Can't wait for the fix.

Ghostery does not let you organize bookmarks in files. Works well, but would prefer to do it inside of my browser. But freedom from speed clogging ads & scripts w/ghostery I cannot live without it.

Back and forth from browser to browser and this App makes everything easier. Just paid to get rid of ads. No wasted $.

This essential app radically improves access to bookmarks on an Android tablet, It is a bit hard to set-up at first but as another reviewer said, STICK WITH IT. With my 10" tablet oriented horizontally I can create 9 folders running vertically along the left side without running below the page. When a folder is tapped, it opens up full screen to display space for nine bookmarks within it without running off of the page. That gives you access to 81 bookmarks without any scrolling, and of course if you care to, scroll away and create hundreds more, organized as you want and easy to locate. FWIW, the only way I was able to transfer bookmarks from the browser (Firefox, in this case) to the app interface was to go into the bookmarks listing in the browser and long-press the bookmark. You then get offered an option to share the bookmark with various apps. Select "Bookmark Folder" and the Android will make the transfer. Once it's in Bookmark Folder it is fully customizable as to name, final location, and which browser it opens in. Should you decide to delete the bookmark in the browser it will still be retained here (of course you can delete in this app as well).

failed to import bookmarks from default/embedded android browser (I did select "browser" in the settings menu). I'm not willing to import hundreds of bookmarks one by one.

I have 4 web broswers. It imported from one only. I cannot work out how to import the others.

No search. Editing bookmarks is too slow.

Can't get it go sort a- z which is the main reason I want an app. Have been in to settings and picked ascend.

Would be great if you could add notes to a bookmark. Please consider updating the app with this feature. Thank You!

I will give 5 stars and PROMOTE this App if I can IMPORT AT LEAST 5 bookmarks!!! PLEASE HELP before I LOOSE IT. IT IS LYING saying it has IMPORTED my bookmarks.. There is NOTHING.. NOTHING!! Nothing!!!!!! Please!!! I don't WANT to loose my bookmarks. I need to FACTORY RESET my device. I don't WANT to loose them.. WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT???

There is no such thing as House-ad: we know that class action suit against telcos that were spamming their own users: they lost + penalty and lawer's fees. Everyone knows your other apps: no need to spam. Erik. Love the app: loose the spam!

I've tried many, and this one is definitely the best. Importing from a html file was no problem. Export/import to/from browsers in marshmallow doesn't work but sharing individual bookmarks does.

This app is not stable at all when marking items, folders, sorting, editing etc ... By pressing one it goes up or down and sometimes duplicates ... incidentally deleted some folders and because there is no trash button can not recover it ... ZERO not one star ...

Does everything it says it does very well, the best I've found. Imported all my bookmarks (~1000 in ~100 nested folders) in one go from desktop Firefox using HTML. It worked immediately and faultlessly. The UI is clear and intuitive, though it's a shame there is so much wasted blank space at the top of the screen. Settings are excellent, allowing fine-tuning without being complex. A delight to use, got the pay version the first day. WISHLIST▶① When a file is exported the default filename should be amendable by the user at the point of saving. I currently have to find the file with a file manager after export to rename the file to something meaningful. ② What would make this app truly great, would be if there was an option to hold the bookmark data on SD (preferably in encrypted form), so it could be synced locally between devices (eg with Syncthing), without having to export/sync/import. PS: The bullying to update is annoying.

I hate bookmarks on Android! This app allows me to import & expert without it being a complete circle jerk - thanks to Google for making a mess of bookmarks on Android!

I've been trying to figure this out. I clicked to import favorites from browser, but it keeps saying it failed. I can't do anything with this. I'm needing to get my browsers from other search engines. I have many.

Latest update changed the browser app picker. I use a dark theme and the picker is white background. Need custom colors for that.

Like a lot just need 1) refresh/fix sorting, 2) search function, and 3)History...............1 - sorting doesn't stick when only using it for one folder and also doesn't automatically re-sort when the sort setting is changed........... 2 - it is hard to find a title when there are so many links to look through and many subfolders (switchig subfolders isn't too bad though).........3 - A little helpful to have a longer history than what is given now esp. when trying to find a recently read, but elusive link.

No method provided to sync to the cloud for backup and restore. No way to contact the developer from within the app. No way to add details about bookmarks. No way to customize bookmarks aside from assigning a thumbnail. It's just a list of bookmarks sorted into folders. That's all this app does.

The menu got unresponsive after using for minutes. Memory consumption over 100MB

This app is one of those little gems, once set up switching between browsers is painless

I had this earlier n did lots of bookmarks. Then my fone died n now its back. But after reloading this app its not reloaded my previously stored bookmarks...just starts like a clean slate. Wish it had a login id whereby it stores permanently like google etc :(

Works well. Simple to use. Tossy is responsive to questions and suggestions. I recommend this app to friends and family.

as far as I can tell , this little piece of software works flawlessly, naturally, intuitively, in every way. within 5-10 minutes of the original install, i was inspired to purchase the "without ads" version, the very first time i ever paid for any android software, and for what it was and is worth to me, the price is a true bargain. much thanks to the developer/programmer - if everything you do in life is done this well, you will be a true success in all things in every way.
