I run a full fedora Linux home PC desktop OS on my phone. I disable android's built-in task killer because I need to keep my applications open while I am on android side. Most people don't know that android constantly kill apps that you put aside , even if your task list says they are alive, they are dead. My fedora is the true alive app. And hence I need to kill-close apps manually based on free memory.

Exactly what I was looking for. Not sure what the phone permission was about, but works fine with it blocked. Appbrain shows no funny business or analytics too.

While using this app, I switched back and forward from the RAM Widget and the RAM counter in the App's section of my settings menu. The RAM Widget would say that I have 10% of RAM which is about 50 something Megabytes and sometimes stayed between 70 and 50 megabytes but never went below that too often. When I checked the RAM from my settings menu, It fluctuated like 7, 28, 11, 76 and 98 megabytes which seemed more realistic than the Widget.

Access to mobile and Wi-Fi networks and phone identity, why? Denied these permissions and it still works. Doesn't need to know my phones IMEI number, or the network connection. Spyware is spyware.
