MultiVNC for Android
App connected to my headless RazPi3 just fine with almost no lag, had minor issues connecting to Ubuntu and Mint but after a few setting chgs it stayed connected but it was quite slow. This was on my older 4core Tab so I'll see how it goes with my new tab and my arm devices. Needs work but I have seen a lot worse.
Does *not* contain ads. The 'contains ads' warning might be referring to the donate button displayed under 'about', which is not considered an ad in most civilized places.
It's great, easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to.
01-02-2017. I need a client that connects to my ssh. On linux you would enter "$ ssh -X user@hostname". This isn't it.
Loved It
Was good, but latest version force closes for me, as soon as I click on a VNC server to connect to, even after clearing data.
this is the tool I was searching for I am a web designer and needs to be in touch with my work at odd times
A must have for Raspberry pi running headless. Working great on multiple OS platforms and architectures. Pretty much trouble free with all servers I have tried. Make something else cool would ya?
Shame there is not any scale to fullscreen options. Instead you have to manually zoom in. But otherwise is superior to other free vncs.
I downloaded this app to use with Linux Deploy. But Linux deploy didn't work for me. So this app is just there sitting on my disk space. I'll evict it someday
I believe that Multi VNC is the best app of it's kind out there for Android .very simple but very advanced interface and very fast. . . . . When connecting to Ubuntu 14.04(and perhaps other distros?) vino-server, you have to use dconf-editor to disable [ ] "require-encryption" or you wont be able to connect. . . . . This is not a bug on either side, it was Canonical(and perhaps others) trying to be a good citizen and requiring crypto. This issue will supposedly be fixed in the 2.x.x
Simply never manager to get over the "handshake" message, while I can connect to the vnc server easily using e.g. the RealVNC android app (meaning, the problem is not on the server side)
When I try to connect to anything it says ECONNREFUSED please help
One of the best VNC apps I've yet to use!
Wonderfull app
Slow
Nice work thus far, ready to see what v2 brings to the mix.
The service is running continuously.
I've tested 4 VNC clients, using the same connection [so that's not an issue], on a 4-core 1.1GHz CPU tablet. Of the 4, this is the slowest — two to three times slower! Responsiveness is so bad, it's barely usable. The view of the remote desktop doesn't refresh any better than the other VNC clients I tested. [So, no tradeoff there.] The view is much cleaner and crisper at all magnifications, however. No jagged edges or other artefacts. But that's not enough of a benefit for the tradeoff in responsiveness. So, I can't recommend this client.

Asus Infinity ICS Tab Has multi host capability. Has full controls which have a small learning curve to get use to using. Works fairly smooth after getting familiar with it. One of the best if not the of the half dozen I've tested. Does crap out on occasion as the others do on my pad. Takes seconds to connect back in. As always I want more features, like OSX support. I'm sure someone's thinking of that on this one.
Works sort-of okay on a phone, although the screen updates are unbelievably slow and the remote pointer moves slower than your finger. On a tablet it's totally unusable. The virtual mouse buttons sometimes don't appear on-screen. The mouse dragging becomes incredibly cumbersome, especially with a USB mouse or Transformer touchpad. Mouse clicks from an external mouse are not supported, Ctrl and Shift keys on a Transformer Prime keyboard don't work. Awful.
So far the best simple VNC app. Looking forward to trying it with ssh tunneling.
I'm probably going to keep to the mainline android VNC for general use, as I miss the touchscreen-style mouse availability, but the mouse buttons are nice. Typing with the onscreen keyboard keeps changing focus to the "send keys" button, which is irritating.
I can't figure out mouse control. Panning and zooming is sketchy. It crashed the first time I ran it.
This is a great app. I can control my iPhone, and computer remotely from this app. The only complaint I have is that you aren't able to go into portrait mode (up and down). That could really come in handy on the iPhone. Thanks for a great, free app!
This is the best free VNC viewer on the Android market.
The best vnc viewer I've tried
Yet I've found this VNC app the best among other apps in the market. I am using this app for running Linux on android.
This is by far the best VNC viewer I've used to date..
Excellent app. Runs backtrack 5 well.
more is better
Very nice
Nice
Works
terrible lag. Mouse is unusable. I'm using a Vizio VTAB1008 to connect to Real VNC on a Win XP machine on my home LAN. Setup and connection was easy and I had high hopes. But once connected.... no joy. Screen res was good.
This is the best VNC client for Android i'v tried so far.
All features operate as they should. No bug found. (wheres imp/exp)
The interface takes some exploration to master, but it works very well afterward.

Hi :) Sadly it couldn't connect :( Error-message smthng about different security protocol. Nice features such as; auto-found hosts settings, easy to save hosts settings as a "bookmark", easy to duplicate a "bookmark" and modify settings&name, easy to import/export settings of each host. This app feels like it might be as good as Connectbot is for ssh with maybe swiping to get from one active host to the next. I hope I can figure-out what I've done to mess-up handshaking! Regards from Tom :)
