WiFi Direct Friends is the new free and easy app to transfer files directly between two local android devices using WiFi Direct. No WiFi hotspot required!
*Send multiple files, or huge files, for free!
*Connect once, and transfer files in both directions, even after you've exited the app!
*Select files using our built in file explorer, your built in media apps, or any other app with a share button.
*Save your file selection to send later, or to send to someone else. Load it up again, and you never have to select a file twice.
*View your downloaded files as each one finishes. Watch them pop up on your downloaded files page and preview them from within the app.

I hope you can polish sharing from other app. Wifi direct is wonderful, but implementation differ from device to device, i got notification on samsung phones but not on this phone.

It's a very good app. The connection between two devices is easy & straightforward and the transfer speed is excellent. I only wish that it would be possible to change the default directory for downloads. I've found that the downloaded files are stacked in inner card directory "com.cobaltstar.wififriends" and I'm unable to change it because the prog's button "Settings" is empty. In other words it's a nearly flawless app - right now I would give it 4,5 stars. Thank you Cobalt Star.

Something that takes what should be a simple task, and makes it a simple task. Something that everthing else I tried could not do. Not only could they not make it simple, they could not do it no matter what you tried to do. Yes I have written programs, so I know it can be a task, but if it don't work, don't submit it as a work finished, when it is not.

Does what its supposed to do. Easy to use and setup. Works perfectly with lg g2 and note 2. Wish there were no ads but its tolerable in exchange to its great utility

Good app actually used to works without using internet.. can receive file's on my Xperia u but can't send though... After the update I can't connect from Xp-u but can connect from nexus? :-o

This is a very good app. It does what it says, not like some others out there. I really needed it because i recently purchased a HTC One and it doesn't have any options 2 share files via wifi direct.

This is a no bs wifi direct app. Simple and easy to use. It could use a flashier ui. But that's just personal preference.
