SIGA, Sistema de Información para la Gestión Académica desarrollado por la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, es parte del sistema Permanecer el cual permite a las instituciones educativas llevar control de la deserción de los alumnos.

SIGA contribuye al control de la deserción mediante el registro de los estudiantes que inasistieron a clase y de las observaciones sobre esa incidencia.

Características

La aplicación se enlaza con un sistema central de información en el que se sincroniza con la base de datos los respectivos cursos, horarios y alumnos que el usuario registrado(Docente) tenga.
Ofrece al docente la posibilidad de trabajar sin conexión(off line) y tomar el control de inasistencia. Para transferir los datos al sistema central deberá conectarse a una red.
