VanMile - Moving & Delivery for Android
I'm a graduate student at the University of Georgia in Athens. This past week, I needed help moving some large storage containers and boxes out of my apartment in a short period of time. I googled "Uber for moving" and found a bunch of apps to try. VanMile was the only one that serves my area. I submitted a request pretty late at night (at around 11:00 or so) with a base payment of $45. This payment covers the first 8 miles of travel for the drivers, and anything more than that is calculated by the company. I wanted the truck to get to my house at around 11:00 the next morning. After submitting, I waited to hear back from VanMile. My driver, Joshua, was very pleasant and moved quickly, which I appreciated because I just wanted to get it all done and overwith. He loaded everything onto the bed of his truck and put it into my storage unit. The company seems to be made up of nice, professional workers. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and quick. Also, the pricing is okay, although I wonder if it would've been cheaper had someone from Athens been available. I paid $102.60 for someone coming from Snellville to Athens to help me. I'd book with them again. Thanks!
This service was wonderful. They addressed my request as quickly as they could, and the driver that came to pick up what I needed delivered was extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and prepared. I could not be happier. Extremely convenient to use and the prices are very reasonable. I am a very satisfied customer.
I used vanmile app to deliver two big bags of gravel for my driveway. It is very heavy. About 600pound. The driver Clay did excellent job to help out. I definitely use it again for any moving or delivery.
Love it for moving small stuff in the city.

Unbelievable. The driver accepted my job yesterday and said he'd call to confirm a time. He said he hadn't read the job because he was drivinh when he accepted it. He never called back. I called customer service to make sure I would not be charged, nobody ever called me back and I just got a text saying that the job was completed and another saying "Thank you for your payment." This app is a nice idea, but there's no way to know if someone is really going to do the job.
