I would continue to use this app if the notification " feature" could be turned off. I keep getting a notification telling me that the app has stopped working. They always seem to pop up at the most inopertune time. Update Sept 2017 I had forgotten how bad this app is. I tried to watch a couple of different videos. The ads play perfectly, to bad the news stories do not play at all.

I used to like this app because I could watch recorded newscast at any time. Kiro plays the recording continuously. However the playback feature stops working on my Android 5.0.1. After advertisement is played, I could hear the audio but can't see the video.

A total disaster. you have to try to write an app this bad. too bad they don't care about having a remotely usable app. I've had same issues as everyone else. videos don't work or play on top of each other, notifications take you nowhere, etc. But most of the time nothing even loads(except ads of course) It just sits there trying and failing to load stuff. When there are updates nothing gets fixed while more ads are added. Consider this app as an ad delivery system, not a news app

Cannot watch love newscasts. Total but!met. Probably need to uninstall and not reinstall this time.????

I love KIRO News. I watch every noon & late night. I've had problems in the past using the app. I'm hoping they've been fixed since I last used it. Otherwise I'll stick to their website.

App Sucks used to work just fine, now it constantly crashing, news stories barely get updated & playback feautures sucks the videos wont even play no more takes for ever to load sometimes it won't load up at all.

This app doesn't allow you to view the notifications instead it takes you to older articles or it shows a black screen with 2 audios playing the same video clip which you can never get to view. Needs serious maintenance

Tried multiple times to load up the live news stream but all I get is the commercial then a black screen. After trying to load it 5 times, I am uninstalling this app.

Like everyone else, it shuts down before it even gets started. Lame.

Hate it it's keeps restarting the for no reason when I try to watch live or load a video I uninstalled it ????????

Originally from Washington but now live in Arizona. I enjoy keeping up with mews in the Puget sound area and kiro is the best source

Broken, crashes when select an item

I don't usually rate apps, but in this case, the developers need to know this app is broken. Notifications come, but when I click on the notification, I expect to be taken to the story. The story/article is nowhere in the list of stories. Once I clicked on a story I thought would be interested in, and endured a 30 second commercial. When the commercial ended, the story did not load. I refreshed the page, and then no fewer than three commercials played in succession. I lost all interest in the story, and instead made a vow to uninstall the app after leaving negative feedback. I was reminded of my vow again today with a notification that is not linked to any story.

I tried this app in 2016 and commented then on the horrid behavior of the background app when in zero-cell areas. That is resolved, but now this issue with the broken breaking news, which was at least acknowledged when I reported it in April 2017. There is a break in the workflow for posting notifications such that the backing content is not published to the service on which the app depends. What should happen is that the content is published first, and that only then can a notification be issued from the content. Rethink the workflow, because right now you are poking us, your viewers, in the eye. This app is again uninstalled.

Wow...This App Is A Disaster! Two streams and commercials running at the same time, hard to get to news stories, constant showing a close button...I could continue, but I'll just delete and check back in a few months.

I get notifications of breaking news.. open the notification and the app is not updated with the headline... always a day behind

Horrible. Plagued by video ads when you attempt to check anything in the app, even just launching it. I will be uninstalling it and most certainly will not be recommending it.

It was good untill it start closing frequently for no reason. May be new update sucks. I just uninstalled it.

It has been broken for weeks now and does not work. They keep telling you to down load it and watch the news but you can't because it does not work and they don't seem to care or want to fix it. Liked it when it used to work prior to the last update. Guess I will have to use King 5 INSTEAD.

App is completely broken, been like this for a couple weeks now. You would think since they are always promoting it to download, maybe make sure it works first? Shameful.

It was working fine, then it just stopped. Can't get it back. Very disappointed.

This is the worst local news app ever. Don't even try to get to a story they send you a notification for. It will NOT LET YOU SEE IT.

Would be better if you didn't get a text ever 20 min or it seems.of unnecessary stuff. Would like to see things come in as braking news.not something that can be talk about on the next news cast.

Half the time it loads a black screen or it loads and you click on an article and you get a blank white screen. I expect better from KIRO.

App is constantly "Not responding" turns black EVERY time I try to use it, sometimes will not open from the black screen. And will turn off when I click on certian articles EVERY time.
