WPXI Channel 11 Wake Up App

Any other apps haven't worked so I'm trying this one

Great channel for news and weather school closings ect

Its great it kills me if there was no school and the weather what does it tell you if there is a delay

Weather for a different state instead of local Brooklyn.

I turn off notifications, then get woken up every morning by a notification about something I could care less about. Please fix this problem

It freezes way to much I miss have of everything .

1 star because it only has 1 setting option & that doesnt even work! I gave it a few weeks buts its terrible. Even if u do want them, when u click on a story from a notification, it doesnt take u to the story!

Downloaded this waste of time....tried to open it.....black screen and froze my phone......why make something that is completely trash?

When I turn notifications off I expect them to stay off. Not turn themselves back on. I had to block through system settings.

Like the news video feature but only the top half of the image is seen. Hope a future update will fix this issue.

It not only works, but they do too.

Please fix this app. It used to work nicely, now it pauses or freezes all together.

I have to touch my screen constantly to keep it playing due to my phone's settings or else remove my screen time out draining my battery or constantly changing settings back and forth. Cannot see the videos associated with this app because I can only see foreheads and building tops.It restarts clips randomly with no option to control. But overall very useful, bugs need fixed, just time consuming, as this rating description is

Dear developer, alarms do not work on your app. When the screen goes into sleep mode Android kills the app while it's still open. Then when you wake up your phone the alarm goes off by that time it's too late and pass the time. I read other reviews on here with similar issues that the alarm doesn't work. If you read this I already sent you an email. For now I am uninstalling this until this issue is fixed because you cannot rely on this app. Definitely needs tons of work.

15 seconds of news, then a continuous stream of a commercial for the app itself. Total crap. I kept this for a couple of weeks, hoping it was just a temporary thing, but no, it wasn't. Worthless. Would have been a nice idea for a news app, what a shame.

It dont work 99.9% of the time, id rather use the space on my phone for a app that does work. Thankx but ill jus watch the news...

Need to fix the main page. The live webcast doesn't appear fully in the middle of the home screen. Only shows half a screen so you only see the tops of everybody heads. No face or nothing. Also the alarm tones suxx because you cant hear them at all and it doesn't match the "real time" either. Fix all this and I will be glad to re-download this app and begin using it!!! o_O

The notifucations dont stay off. It seems to almost reset each day or something. The push notification that comes through is worthless anyway. You can only view partial text and then when you click on it the app opens up and instead of it taking you to a place in the app where you can view the rest of the text its just the live news cast. The push will say something like Alert: 20 car pile up on... and then I click on it to find out where and I never find out because it dissappears.

can't get the videos to play n you can't set an alarm. It gets stuck at the current time.

Gonna give it a try, but I can see it needs some work. For instance- full screen video should rotate to landscape.

Based upon majority of reviews, I will not install this app. It also requests a lot of permissions. I understand access to GPS, but I should have the ability to turn it off and on according to my needs. Also, why is my phone book, contacts, usage, as well as access to identifying serial numbers, etc necessary? Channel 11...do you think you can get story insight for unsuspecting app users? Hmmmm.... Skeptical.

Downloaded the app for the alarm and it doesn't work. So does the video. Gotta do a lot of fixing.
