Crashes on opening

Just awful. so bloated with ads no useful content is available in any reasonable amount of time. It just sits with he loading circle going around and around until you are so pissed off you just kill the ap.

What a crappy app, doesn't want to load 1/2 the time. Stay away from ads and articles at bottom of page, most have false or misleading tag lines.

App will not even open. Says welcome to dayton daily news, nothing more.

Don't like this new one. Can't find the obits. It was easier before....

It been a great app keep up the great work.

Much better since last update. Like the changes to the layout and that I can view stories by categories now. Nice work!

You tap on an article and you get an error message. This is why I removed it last time.

This app crashes more than it works.

The layout appears to be designed by a group of kindergartners. Maybe it looks better on a tablet but on a phone it is extremely cluttered - not enough white space. The color scheme is distracting and I was not able to find any logic behind the order or categorization of stories. There is no menu or search feature.

I want a news app that I can easily find the important articles to me, not a collage of stories they only want me to be able to find. Very poor design!

I was hoping this app would give me access to my paid subscription. The Dayton Daily News web site, that I'm stuck using on my phone, is very difficult to use. It wasn't made for touch screens.

I think this is a clear and beneficial app. Wish it could allow me to search articles based on keywords.

Only half of the news stories show up. The bottom half is blank.

Pure crap

The only downside is that you can't change the text size.

Who's the genius that decided that we shouldn't get an option to sort the news by sections? This app is pretty much worthless now that I have to scroll forever to find things in this disaster you call an app. The old app had zero design with a lot of functionality. The new app has a lot of design with zero functionality. It's colorful, but useless.

I installed this on my Galaxy Note 4 and it was slow! No search menu, either. I removed it and installed one from Nine Three Seven.

Will not install!!! In over two hours online. CANNOT ENTER VIA SUBSCRIPTION-DDN. Made me change my Google password. Beating my head against a brick wall for the last 3 hours. Frustrated all to hell. WILL CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION MONDAY...Now on third hour...battery down to 42%. I will continue to monitor. Now into 4th hour--battery @34%. I am cancelling the attempt to download. . .subscription Monday

As a new subscriber to the paper I register my account but refuses to let me sign in so I can't see the entire paper

Well...is it...it certainly is not the Dayton Daily News I grew up with in the 70s when I had a route...the paper itself is smaller...colunms are narrower...print larger...now we have this mess called the DDN app...you can't search where is the weather. ..sports...stuff that would actually be on or in section A...B...C...D? And who decided to change the printed version. ..go back...and fix this...need some help? Ask all of us who dont like it...you have enough ideas dont u?

Bad app

I'd like to be able to share opinion columns I like but can't even find them with this app.
