The push notifications have tripled lately and are often on the same topic linking to an article that was linked in an earlier push notification. I am at the verge of blocking the push notifications because they are repetitive and not "breaking news" or something I just absolutely need to know before I read the newspaper online with my disgital subscription. The push notifications should be very limited and only for things we absolutely need to know at that very moment, but lately it has been so abused. The application will also crash at times when you click on a push notification.

During attempt to scan headlines and read 2 articles, the app crashed at least 6 times before I gave up.

For the past month or so, this app will not open on my Android phone and ATT Uverse wifi. Same with WSBtv news app, but not WSBtv Weather. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Only get a blank screen.UPDATE: I briefly got the app to open. It immediately crashed when accessing a video. Now when opening, I either get an error message telling to try again later, or, just the blank screen. Frustrating!

For the past few weeks it won't start at all. Just a solid gray screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled but same result. Useless!

This app help me a lot to figure out what is going on in our state and county include our neighborhood. I am working mom who don't have time to sit down and read paper news paper,so when my phone showing the breaking news, I can briefly see what's going on anytime ,anywhere. Thankyou.

Lots of glitches and errors. Clunky.

The new app does not work at all. Everyone who upgraded is shut out

After downloading I now get frequent and useless notifications. Just received a notice "cuteness alert" about a new animal at the zoo. I could care less! I should be able to select the types of alerts I want so as not to be bothered with their useless notices. . You would think Cox would be able to do better.

I cannot believe Cox Media Group, Inc. is so cheap that it cannot afford the creation of a decent, up-to-date, modern app for the local news. This design is archaic at best. Now I know why the low ratings. Nothing's changed except for the title/cover page. Whoopee! Better off watching, listening, using WSB's TV, radio, app.

Worked fine on HTC m8, doesn't work at all on new HTC 10.

Constant notifications and very clunky

Can't scroll properly. Can't handle switching from one article to another. Thought I could check election results, no such luck. Do you even TEST your app? Go back to school or hire better staff.

This app is slow, loses its place and locks you into BS ads sometimes.

It's been three months since you said you were fixing the bugs...and the app works worse now than it did in May! All the buttons won't even load whether I'm on WiFi or T-Mobile. I can see the first screen's tabs, but once I scroll down, it's just blank, no matter how long I try and let it load. Please bring back the old app. This sucks and I can't get my Atlanta news when I'm out of town. It's useless.

Sad to see that AJC no longer has the financial /people resources to provide a credible news site offering even basic content and functionality. Content, such as it is, just stops dead halfway down the page.

So poorly organized and horrible. Can't navigate to specific sections like before. Mimics the layout of the regular website, which is also horrible. News sites are for reading news stories, not looking at pictures. Won't use anymore and will get my news elsewhere.

The app just doesn't work like a newspaper should. To blocky, not enough updates, shows to the same article several times. I still use but don't like it.

Usually crashes while opening. If not then, it crashes while opening or closing an article. Then, very difficult to shut it down. Navigation is totally unorganized; categories are all jumbled up; layout is unclear and unintuitive. I'm now using website every day instead. Only reason I even subscribe is access to electronic version and myajc. Old app was fine. Go back and never return. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

Filter feature to get subjects you want is worthless. Every article is incorrectly categorized. Nation and World is populated with sports and entertainment stories. The busting of sweet tea thieves is their "Top News" story. The app used to be useful, poorly done, but useful. Fortunately, they haven't completely fouled up the paper version, yet.

Slow. Returns to top after you read anything. Slow. One item per section usually. Zero depth. No search. Can't scan full paper. Can't read particular section. Just awful. If a bad elementary school class, on a field trip, designed a bad website, while on a speeding schoolbus, driven by a drunk in a clown suit, it would be better than this! And faster.

I used to get most of my local news from the old AJC app. With the latest "upgrade" I can't find anything. I have completely quit using it now. What I can find take too long to load. The app is trying so hard to be graphically appealing, that it makes the actual stories impossible to get to. Bad, bad job AJC (and all Cox Media who have followed suit.)

Love the AJC, but I liked the old app better. This once crashes a lot and is very buggy. Like the style and color, but the execution needs some work.

The old one sooooooo much better this one doesn't even show all of the page. Totally sucks!

They are trying to download to much media an pictures which makes it slow an crashes the old one was better, we want content tor read.

I upgraded the rating from one star to two stars. I can see marginal improvement however, the app remains very unstable. The app frequently crashes if you try to go back after opening an article. When viewing an article if you click the link to view more the app crashes. It is by far the worst of the news apps I use. Once the bugs are fixed, the app will not score higher than a three or four because the redesigned layout of the site is awful.

Crashes were reduced, but after last update, only half of the content updates.

I had this app on my older G2 and loved it; easy to navigate to the news I wanted to see. Bought a newer phone and now I'm forced to use the new "improved" version of this app. It has no categories which I hate. Also after reading an article and returning to main page it takes you to the top of the list, not where you were previously. Please update this app to a usable state!

App continues to crash!! Very inconvenient. Goes back to the top of the page after reading an article. Old app was much better. Will un-install the app until something better comes along.

My updated opinion after the numerous worthless updates. App doesn't seem to crash, but it doesn't matter. It still sucks. I can't read what I want. I can only read what AJC wants me to. Uninstalling- AGAIN! Come on, AJC, give us an app that works and is actually useful for getting the news.

People just want to quickly access content. The overengineering of tiled windows makes it unusable. Slow to load, hangs unresponsively, difficult to navigate.

Can only read the top 5 or 6 stories. Its obvious that AJC could care less due to the number of complaints and nothing being done about it. AJC continues to regress, I'm done with you guys!!

Concept is sound, execution is terrible. AJC-- please learn to QA your work! App doesn't exit cleanly, doesn't display half the stories and there is no option to read more of a section. This thing is a real clunker.

Crashes all the time. Worst design ever. Did anyone test this before it was released? Update: even after multiple app updates, it's still crashing. Terrible app. Update: the app won't fully load. This app is absolutely terrible. Get your news elsewhere.

It doesn't work. The end
