CMC Markets Spread Bet App

Has potential to be one of the best. Includes defaults for Stop loss and Take Profit. 5 stars for that alone. Tight spreads and looks great, but unfortunately I can't see how to show current P'n'L while chart is open. Also the chart keeps forgetting my settings and reverts to a daily chart with trades not showing. Pending Orders don't show on chart. Needs to always show profit and loss in pips as well as money. But promising app.

Do some research, find a trader online who is making bare dollar. Start following his trades, make some good wonga, stake on USD/CAD, drops 40 points. 10/10 would sell my house to repair the damage to my account again.

The charts seem to default to weird settings that I tried out once rather than what I have set as default, and sometimes the price moves off the visible portion of the chart, with no way to view the current level.

First of all you need to sort out the fibonocci whenever I try to apply it the app shut down and I have to log in again. Secondly I traded the jpy /gbp last week Friday before the market close I was up about 60 points set my stop loss to break even (0.00). Why did cmc increase the spreadfrom 2/3 points to 22 points? !!! To closed me out 28 points in debt. That was not nice knowing that the trade went on to be a winner and hit my target at 141

The platform is nice and very simple but the truth is they go chasing stop losses and their prices differ a lot from others. Not to be trusted as a company

I have titled my review awesome fun and this app is. I am not a serious trader, more a bored day tripper seeking entertainment. However, this app is seriously "well built" for trading the markets. The layout is so good I can only say that traversing the menus feels very "organic" and "natural" and SIMPLE for even a beginner. The charts are easy to read and have a plethora of "study overlays" like "Stochastics" and "relative strength indexes" to name just two. I might add, all of which can be customise

Overall this app is good, trading on phones isnt the best nor most practical due to small screen but i use it just to check progress. Draw tools dont work so good so I would only rate this 3 and half stars. IG is much better and CMC could learn a thing or two.

Poor imitation of the desktop platform with too many omissions and limitations to be use able.

Bug fixes resulted in app becoming unstable on Note 4. Whether it's compatibility issue with Android latest software or programming issues I don't know. Keeps crashing, getting logged out.

Doesn't allow user to set the analysis template they want. Restrictions on parameter values for macd are far too low. Doesn't allow moving averages on anything except close of bar.

Glad I did this as a trial period... I won't trust this company with actual money if you cannot log into your account for periods of time.

I've been using this for several months and can assure readers that it works well and is one of the cleanest and clearest apps of its kind. The addition of trading volume data would be a useful addition.

I can't recommend an app that can't even get to a login screen on a WiFi network. I will update if I ever see it work

Always asks for password. Join together positions. Unbelievably long way between positions and graphics.

I had some bad experience with it before but now it works fine. Sometimes charts might be temperamental but whole app works fine.

Could not create live account, simply freeses

Could be much improved by sorting out the back button functionality. Kicks me out of the app so I have to log on again. Also the watchlists should be quicker to get to.

I love CMC online platform and this app has many of its features but some people don't seem to like it. The app however can be a little frustrating especially the chart. It has a habit of defaulting to initial settings every time you change a view and I haven't found a way to save my preferred layout or time frame. So, apart of charting everything else seem functional.

Great app but latest upgrade makes font small

Im an android user it does not have the option that show my position the show trades arrow where you have it with iphones. can this be sorted for the next update for android please?

Like Lee Todd my phone keeps restarting when switching to charts or draw. I am using Galaxy Note 3. Just downloaded the App. Otherwise the app looks nice.

Great upgrade fast responsive and easy to get around.

The best platform

When switching between charts or drawing new charts, the app states 'Unfortunately spread betting has stopped' and there's an option to report or continue I have reported this numerous times and trying deleting and reinstalling the app but no change. Can be reasonable annoying when trying to place a trade and having to reenter password and reopen chart all over again.
