About ICE - in case of emergency

ICEcard is a convenient way to store information needed by rescuers and doctors, if you are a victim of an emergency. In addition to a list of contacts of the closes persons, it also allows you to save information about taken medications, passed diseases, allergies and other health information.

Thanks to the ability of creating multiple profiles, the program can also become a useful database for medical information about family members or other close persons.

A special alarm button allows to send in critical situation, an emergency sms message to all the people from your contact list, containing among others data collected from mobile phone’s GPS, so that the closest persons become instantly informed about serious life-threatening situations and receive information about the current position of the user.

Just one click on the screen to let your loved ones know that you need help!

ICEcard application is free of advertisement.

Easy to use and you can put all the medical and contact information you want so first responders can see all the important information to help you ASAP, simply by opening your phone. I set mine to appear on the first screen seen. I was able to list all

This app is fantastic. I have multiple medical problems and a long list of meds and medical allergies and this allows me to put everything in there at a tap of a finger for medical personnel to get ahold of. My doctor's office loves it to keep track of my medicines. It allows me to have an emergency button on my phone to tap to contact 9-1-1 or a person with one touch. Absolutely love this app recommend it to everyone even recommended it to my doctor's office to tell other patients about.

Haven't had a chance to use this app yet, but have run tests off it!! Like the set up, with all the info on it. All runs smoothly. I am Diabetic & a left leg(below knee) amputee. When I'm out on my own, my family are exceptionally happy that someone can at least help me, should I be in any trouble(medically wise). Have a list of 5 people that can be called upon, should it be necessary.

Love this app!! DH is a diabetic and I never have to worry about whether he has his emergency info on him. It's all in here. Only thing that would make it better is if we could update the info onlilne and have it go to the app. As we get older, things keep changing and it takes so much time to update the app. Would be so much better online. Would be willing to pay for the upgrade.

All I can do is upload a picture of myself and enter my height, weight, birthday, and blood type. I'm not sure how to enter the important details like my traumatic brain injury or, my allergies or family contact information. My attempts at trying to prepare for my next Hospital adventure are futile. The buttons don't show any drop down menu to upload the medication information, contrary to the help section in the application.

This is a excellent app to use and have on your phone it as certainly does what it says on the tin. If you have got medical issues then this is the app for you. Everything is in the app for you to use and log your details and medication what you take plus you can put your weight, and height and blood type in. What more can you ask for well worth 5 stars and more.

The app works great. I like that it shows up on a locked phone. The only thing is that I have a phone that unlocks with a finger print and now I have to use my finger print twice to unlock the phone. Maybe that's a good thing though. I'm not sure that I like that it shows my data of birth. That may not be a good idea if someone steals the phone. Still, the app does a good job storing the medical information for everyone in my family. I think that would be helpful in an emergency. The bottom line is that I recommend this app.

X70%
by X####:

I like the app but have a couple of questions and comments. Where do I add my doctors? Shouldn't they have their own page? I would like some pages where we can add notes. Maybe there is and I just can't find it? I got the info on my lock page but cannot click on it to go to my ICE app. Is that supposed to be how that works? It is just there but not clickable.

X70%
by X####:

The app is a great idea, but I don't like my personal information available to be seen by anyone who opens my phone. This exposes me to medical identity theft. This was not an issue with the app before the most recent update. Please fix this.

W70%
by W####:

I love that you can see all info, but until it is only a press to open on the lock screen I will not reinstall. I love having photo ID and multiple profiles. It is on the right track, but not there as a good app yet. Did not show on unlock screen after restarting device.

X70%
by X####:

Usual early learning curve challenges, 3 more stars if you can stop every time I test it with asking for a review. That's annoying. Give me a chance to take it through its claims.

X70%
by X####:

Great for basic easy to read information for anyone opening the app. However, I will NOT let me save my correct birth year. I keep trying and says "save ok" but then I open it and it's stuck saying year 2000. Otherwise, simple, easy, and clear. I like the extra notes page.

W70%
by W####:

Most fields should have a value for 'Unknown', like eg bloodtype. I have no clue what my bloodtype is, but I have to gamble and pick something.. Add a field with predefined values that translate for contact-relation, like wife, sister, mother, father etc. Unable to enter the settings menu via the main app in KitKat. Works only via the lockscreen-app after unlocking the screen.

X70%
by X####:

Love this app but I tried to share the app (to facebook)on the bottom of this page so others could use this fantastic app...Yikes all my personal info went with it! Along with info of my mom and husband. Luckily it was very late at night and I was able to delete from my facebook page immediately. No damage done. For that reason I gave it a 4/5 rating.

by X####:

Had this app for a grand total of 2 hours. I love the concept, but anytime I turn my phone on, instead of my lock screen, I see my ICE profile. I'd rather just the icon, not the full page. I don't want just anyone to see that information when they touch my phone (especially since I work with kids and they have a habit of grabbing my phone). Uninstalling until this is fixed.

V70%
by V####:

I love the layout and the options for adding detailed notes. But it's unacceptable that checking the "Visibility on lock screen" option ends up opening the app instead of showing the lock screen. It would also be nice to have a separate "surgeries and procedures" section; right now I have them all listed under "diseases". It has the potential to be fantastic, but the lock screen issue must be fixed.

All information is immediately seen when you wake up your phone. Before your lock screen. Before your notifications screen. It just opens up to whichever section you updated last. I wanted something that appeared on my lock screen as an option for first responders, not something that displays all of my medical information if I hand it to a friend.

X70%
by X####:

I have only just found this app. I was looking for something that would be accessible before the lock screen. This does exactly that. Wanted this for my husband, as has a few serious conditions. Very pleased with information you can put in. I have added it to both our phones.

X70%
by X####:

Still could use a few changes but does the job. Under medications needs the ability to say for exp. 1-2 mg, etc. and a way to say as needed. I just used the notes for my dosing info which I like better anyway as it is right there and the emerg personnel don't have to click to see it.

Have been using for a few years. Does almost everything it should. Wish it would be available on locked screen, my Alcatel XL won't show it. Next would be a desktop editor for the database. I am not a good typist in a phone keyboard.

I have a password to open my phone. How can EMS see my info on the ICE App, without knowing how to unlock my phone? I do have the ICE Icon visible. 2 wks ago I put my phone in my pocket, & somehow it sent my contacts an emergency text!!?? I have NO idea how this happened, but it sure caused undo stress to my contacts!!

I rated it 4 stars because I don't like the whole app opening up and displaying my personal info and medical record without opening it. It opens on its own. Fix this and I will give you 5 stars. If it doesn't get fixed even though it's a great app I will have no alternative to uninstall.

X70%
by X####:

The application seems great. I was able to add in my information fairly easy. My only complaint is that sometimes it kept freezing and I would have to close the app then open the section I was working on to finish. If this could be fixed I would rate it 5 instead of 4.

It might be convenient for emergency services, but this app is bloody annoying. The screen poppes up at any time (especially during phone conversations) and reduces the accessibility to the phone's features. It really need some serious improvements. Another issue is that I need to unlock my phone to call the ICE contact...Pointless

Find its hard to get on with info could doing with changing for people who are still into stone feet and inch. Can't get blood type told by doctors it on a need to know lol. Also need tobe made easy to use

This app is fantastic! I am legally blind & can't always remember everything needed in a medical situation. I only have to open the app, hand my phone to the medical personnel & they can fill out the needed forms. My medical bracelet has only to say "see ICE app on phone, for medical info". I would like to see an addition, perhaps a purchase that can be saved to the cloud, if my phone breaks, so I can add it to a new phone without re-entering all the extensive information now entered. Thanks so much!

Its great but like a lot of people i lock my phone. Its no use if emergency services cant access it. Is there something the developers can do? I use a samsung galaxy note 3.

X70%
by X####:

I like the app but took me a while to figure out how to use it. Would be helpful if it was more user friendly. Once I was familiar with the app it was easy to work through the various screens to input data. Would be nice to have the option to call or text as not everyone uses text measaging

P70%

Only thing I've found so far is that even when putting the icon on my home screen, if something happened, emergency responders can't access it because my phone is password protected. There should be a way for them to get into it if i happened to be unconscious and unable to respond.

X70%
by X####:

I keep all my info on it, from the meds I take including vitamin and supliments, dental info, and eye contacts. These are things that medical personal would need to know in case I am unctuous and can't tell them myself.

And grab your smart phone that you have already downloaded all your medical information, just in case. Don't leave home without your phone. In an car accident, having the ICE app available on your lock screen, let's emergency personnel know that all your allergies, medications, and doctors are all in this single app and they recognize the ICE icon as a emergency tool. It has a list of those contacts that need to be called. I haven't had to use this app yet but I think it's a great idea, just in case.

A colleague went unconscious at work. We could not unlock her phone to contact her family. It got me thinking. If something happened on the road how would the first responders know who to contact? Started looking for an app. Found ICE been using it for some months. Some minor inconveniences but I prefer having emergency info easily available. Recommended.

Really pleased with the ability to access from the lock screen. However, would prefer not to have the solid white block background. Would suggest full width white border only, maybe with white text inside saying, "Emergency Information".  Still waiting for some response to previous request for you to accommodate the information being displayed in two languages. Suggest English and one other. The language seen when the app is opened being selectable by me. I can then change the display if I go on holiday.

This easy to use application makes it easy to organize your information and makes it easy to find your information later. I love the new feature of it being accessible from the locked screen!

I take blood thinners along with other meds. I wanted something on my phone that medical information could be obtained even when my phone is locked. I like the emergency button because I fall more then I care to say. This feature makes me feel safer. The only problem I had was with doses. There needs to be a way of putting in a decimal point e.g.: 7.5mg or 12.5 mcg. Would be great if that could be added. Thanks for a great life saving app

I got this app just because its great! I had an update and everyone kept saying it was so great as it can be seen now on the front screen. I never could..but last night i realised it did work! And its great! I hope i never have such bad accident that itis needed...but if i do i hope the meds knows how to use it. Thank you!

Recent update which allows access from lock screen could save lives. While not perfect (some odd wording) with less than ideal screens to enter info, all the necessary basics are there for first responders to quickly and easily identify you, understand your medical history and contact loved ones. To reviewers complaining about ICEcard info appearing on their lock screen for anyone to see, do NOT use the Widget and make sure in settings you CHECK "Show Notification Icon" & UNCHECK "Visibility on Lock Screen"

X70%
by X####:

Having your Ice information displayed while your phone is locked, which is the whole point, also allows anyone to swipe down and read your text msgs and emails that are waiting as notifications at the top of the screen.

X70%
by X####:

No widget/icon on lock screen even after following "directions" in help. Option to have whole app open when you wake the screen up for unlock is such a dumb idea. I dont want all that info to pop up to whoever picks up the phone... You need to keep it simple. Small icon on lock screen toshow emergency contact numbers/info adding in things like allergies, meds, heal hx is nice but if the docs or paramedics cant see it or use it its no good. And if i dont use it because of the way it works, its no good.
