MC-Photo shows photos downloaded from popular photography sites: 500px, Flickr, DeviantART, WikiArt, Instagram and Panoramio. Your local albums can be used too.
Although this application uses APIs of photography sites mentioned above it is not endorsed or certified by any of them.
No personal or private information is collected or transmitted by this app.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Original version of this app with "500px" in it's name was recently removed from Play Store. This app is identical in functionality. If you wan't to retain preferences from previous application use 'Save profile' in old and 'Load profile' in this application.
Photos are changed at user-defined intervals, and they can scroll across screen and/or move as phone tilts.
Use it also as Photo-Frame either via native Android Daydream (only Android 4.2+ devices) or as a manually invoked Dayframe-like slideshow (all Android 2.3.3+ devices). (***)

There are a lot of customization options.
All settings can be saved to a profile for easy reloading.
Saved profiles can be loaded again manually, via Tasker plugin or through Atooma.
Choose one of the following actions for double-tap, two-finger tap, three-finger tap or shake:
■ Change photo
■ Change to previous photo
■ Change all photos
■ View photo in full screen
■ Bring up 'Quick Options' dialog with more quick functions: change fit mode, share photo, open preferences dialog...
■ Show without filter - displays original photo without applied filter for 3 seconds
Options Dialog can be started through it's application icon.
Put MC-Photo widget to home screen and tap it to quickly change photos.
'Static' setting - turn MC-Photo into static wallpaper changer and get maximum possible swiping performance! (Collage and classic modes.) This setting is not visible if app Preferences are opened from LWP Chooser app (use app icon or taps to invoke it from 'Options dialog').
Warning: in this mode tap actions don't work (it's not a LWP any more - just a background service).

This app contain widgets from MC-Photo Widget application.
Only difference between widgets from this app and widgets from MC-Photo Widget app is that later widgets can have zero margins so they can span from edge to edge of the screen (if your launcher app allows it). For details see the description at: http://goo.gl/zYYr6a.
PERMISSIONS
■ Internet - to download photos from photo providers
■ Location - to get your local weather conditions (weather mode)
■ External storage - to cache downloaded photos inside globally accessible location for reuse (by app or user)
■ Network state - to check if connection is available before starting to download photos
■ Set wallpaper - to set single photo as non-live wallpaper when 'Static' setting is turned on
*** Daydream uses photos already cached by Live Wallpaper part so it won't have anything to show if you don't use Live Wallpaper functionality first.

Installed this app on my new S80 and now I have a problem - when I scroll between the home screens the photo doesn't scroll anymore. It used to work on my old "one plus" though... Can you please fix it?

Been trying different wall paper changers and liked this one best, especially the shown full picture mode. Fitting the border/background color to the picture is a nice touch. Also like the ability to change a picture by tapping. Even though the 500px connection does not work for me, there are plenty of sources to get great pictures.

Quotes show perfectly on my Galaxy 5S phone in both landscape & portrait, but those same quote images cut off words on square images in both landscape & portrait on my ASUS TF300. Tried all Fit options (though the options differ on my tablet), & Toggle doesn't shorten image as much as it enlarges it. Fix the tablet display & I'll upgrade rating. Thanks for being such a caring & responsive developer :)

Does exactly what I want in a LWP; select my folders of pictures, set rotation time, randomize, go. Dev even solved a trivial issue I was having, in a mere couple hours no less, and sent out an email letting me know. #thatsservice

it is a good app and contains all features which i want except one thing that we cannot delete photo which we donot want as wallpaper from the cache. and the categories also dont seem to work i have removed black and white but still i am getting pics with black and white background

I tried several other apps, but this one is the very *best*; being able to choose images from all around the web - and from my own stash - is a wonderful thing! However, I've been experiencing major crashes of MC-Photo lately - the app reports it has stopped working, and ceases to respond. I've sent reports a number of times, and will continue to do so in hopes the data helps develop a resolution. I really like this app!

With the variety of photo sources (including 500px, panoramio) wallpapers will never be boring. There are so many possibilites to customize sources and other options (how to fit image, how often to change the wallpaper, etc) that there is no other app which could competes with this.
