Puffin Browser Pro

Having issues staying connected to server. I love Puffin enough to actually spend money on it but this has been going on for a few days and it's getting pretty annoying. It's the best when it works though.

Used be good but Gash is the only word that describes it since updates, there's so much wrong with it now but one of the most annoying is they've made so if your typing you can't see what you've typed until you've finished because the static address bar obscures top of screen and a pointless extra bar on top of the key pad obscures the rest... plus reply miss the tabs the new system is horrible

Stability is trash now. Constantly have to reconnect even under perfect 4g coverage. Used to be great, but it is far too unstable to give any good review for.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER EMAILS. How can a developer just ignore paying customers like this? Please read this and all "newest first" reviews before buying this app. The 4.1 star rating is only due to the older versions of this app that used to work. This current version is loaded with many bugs and changes that took its useability very far backward. I'm very disappointed with this app as well as the developer. I emailed the developer on February 25th, 2017 explaining some of the issues but have not heard back, still as of July 27th, 2017, and none of the issues have been fixed. Plenty of other developers care about their customers and respond almost immediately to emails concerning bugs and helpful feedback, and then they fix the bugs. Spend your money on a developer that cares and read reviews carefully before installing.

Streaming flash videos does not work for me anymore. Help?

Great browser. FAST! Only one suggestion: put the menu and the tab selector at the bottom of the screen, it's way better for phones with 4.5 inch screens and up

Come on guys, fix your browser, I bought the pro version because I wanted flash content on Android but now the app is almost unusable after update! THIS IS WHAT PAYING CUSTOMERS WHO SUPORT DEVELOPMENT GET FOR OUR HARD EARNED MONEY?

Often unresponsive to navigation taps or swipes. Can't use as main browser because of it. Edit:freeze ups are getting really bad and often lately. Open same site with other browser and no hang ups. Sort yourselves out!

Another update, another lost star. The functionality of this browser has been steadily decreasing for almost a year. Unclear what minor fixes were implemented this time, but issues with speed dials, bookmark handling, and overall stability have not been addressed. I keep updating the app in hopes of a return to past performance, but I certainly don't use it.

New user...Great start, faster than any I have used yet. More features than I expected. So far only issue is limited search engine choices. The obvious ones are less appealing to me than ever before.

Issues with videos not playing while trying to stream. Maybe update your HTML5 / FLV rendering codecs. Currently using Chrome with no issues.

this update fixed most of the issues other than I DO NOT WANT MY BROWSER HISTORY LEFT ON THE START PAGE!!... its running a lot better , still a little laggy but at least its finally usable

Keeps having an error connecting to servers even though is internet is good. Also the URL bar on top is annoying when watching zoomed in videos.

Last update brought my rating down from 4. My top recent site has been deleted and replaced with a nonremovable Bing icon, and while there are still search options, my selection seems to be ignored in favor of Bing.

Have been use this for more than 2 years, current condition is Very unstable, lack of update for bugs, always reconnecting, no respond for email..., do not waste your money guys...

I've bought it today and it's a waste of money and developer not responding at messages DO NOT BUY IT !

Hi, can you update the chrome version to the current one? Some sites will pop up window saying "your chrome version is outdated"

I installed the latest update and it still freezes. I end up getting a "Puffin is not responding. Do you want to close it?" message. I am using Android Marshmallow. I have been using Puffin for several years but I now find myself thinking of alternatives. ( And NOT Chrome!)

I used to love this app. But now it doesn't work with Plarium games any more.

Restarts frequently, goes bananas when using the pen for my Galaxy S3 in menu structures.

Really not good first i am try free version they always hang so i think pro version should not hang but this is also directly out from browser and shut down application i am doing live trading everytime i have to login when hand so boaring please fix this my devices is galaxy note 5

How come the pro version locked a cell of the speed dial to BING search engine?

Seems to work better than the Chrome browser for flash-based content -- especially for drag and drop.

Good with flash player, still freezes when I try to refresh a page that normally has a box that pops up asking if I want to resubmit the info (which I do). The app totally freezes and I have to force it close and reopen it. Other than that it is OK. Also like the way pages don't always refresh if I opened it a minute ago but flipped to another tab for a few seconds.

This version does not support Samsung Galaxy S8. Video keep Blinking all the time. It seems due to Flash compatibility with new Android Nougat on Galaxy S8. Please fix it
