Safe Browser - The Web Filter

Great browser but doesn't work in other browsers.. child can still use Google or internet explorer to look up porn child can still use incognito mode in other browsers and look at whatever ...if you can uninstall other browsers and prevent them from reinstalling them this would work.. this app would have to be used with an app blocker to do what's needed to protect your kids

It seems like a good app that works but if I want to go to inappropriate sites all I have to do is use regular google. I've tried at least 10 different blocker apps to block regular google so I would be forced to use this filter app. Once I blocked regular google with every blocker app I tried, it will constantly pop up over and over again asking for the security password even after trying to exit out of it. I guess regular Google constantly runs on your phone and so the blocker app reads it and pops up :(

This program is great! Except for the fact that there is no in-browser video support. Whenever I open a video it uses the gallery to play it, resulting in blurry video and non-synchronized sound. Please fix this issue and I will be glad to give you 5 stars!

First of all, ignore all comments complaining about this app being pointless. IT WORKS WELL, IF YOUR DEVICE IS ROOTED AND YOU CAN UNINSTALL CHROME AND OTHER BROWSERS. You will also need apps like 'smart app lock' to prevent users from installing other browsers from the play store. (that should be obvious, but many people don't seem to get that and thus this app has an unfairly bad rating). That said, the interface isn't amazing and anachronisticly adheres to Android 2.3 design choices. Overall: ok.

I am addicted to gambling after installing this app I can no longer access my usual gambling sites which reduces temptation. I wish I had found this app before I blew half my wages. Thanks very much I think this will help with my addiction.

I have a note 4 and I can't find ANY settings or allowed website settings... the problem is that it stops me from searching even for pirate bay. I have to delete it and I'm not happy about it but I have to get to certain websites...

I downloaded an app called Covenant Eyes, which is only around $10/month, and it's an excellent accountability tool. The problem with it is that its internet filter doesn't work on my android. All hope seemed lost until I found this app. It does exactly what I need it to do and Covenant Eyes makes up for its shortcomings. And it doesn't cost me extra! I would give it five stars, but it's full potential can only be reached with a complimentary app.Thanks!

Thank you. I was addicted to bad stuff but now since it is blocked I'm free. I wish not only from this app that in google the unwanted sights will be blocked as well

This doesn't check images or video links in search. Apart from that it usually does what it claims; though I've found it can sometimes let things through simply because their titles don't quite give away the nature of the content.

You need to add filter so I can add my own website e.g. Facebook chat block, that all I want this for as there is no way to disable the active x mins ago feature, and I can block it on my PC via ad block filter and adding the URL for blocking the fb chat.

This is way too restricted. I cant watvh youtube or see any safe videos. It also freezes my phone constantly. Youd get a better rating once this is fixed.

Pros: You can block websites, which is handy for parents or those of us who are trying to curb our social media addictions. (I use StayFocused to limit my time on the Facebook and Twitter apps, and replacing Chrome with Safe Browser just prevents me from using a browser to circumvent the limits I set for myself.) Cons: No multi-tab browsing. I often need to toggle back and forth between tabs to keep track of multiple searches, so not being able to do that like I did in Chrome is annoying.

Only works in the main profile on Nexus 7. Doesn't work in the restricted profile I set up for my kid, which completely defeats the purpose. Any time I open it in that profile, it immediately crashes.

Why it's slow to loading, and when I press back to the first page, it become a blank page. Need to refresh to open the new one. Can't open you tube also. Please make it more easy to use. Thank you.

Keeps all inappropriate sites and junk away from me. A great app to sheild yourself and others from the evil works of the Internet.

It does work, but isn't very user friendly. It would be nice if it allowed more then one tab and if you could copy and paste better.

App isn't connecting. Because of this nothing is being blocked. The app would be a great deal better if you could make it the default app and block other internet apps as well. Fix that for 5/5 stars.

This is a load of shite. It doesn't give any option to ad a website to block it. Instead I get the impression you have to use Web browser via this app to get the dodgy websites....what good is that. I want to block websites NOW!!

This app is good. Thank you! Cloudacl team :) It just has 1 minor issue: I found that kids can key other urls into the address bar and websites outside the whitelist are sometimes not blocked... Suggest to add 1 option for admin to hide the address bar. In this way, we can limit the websites our kids visit via the bookmarks, even if websites outside whitelist are not blocked. I will give this app the full 5 stars then. Thanks again!!

I'm working on breaking an addiction but I always see things that trigger a relapse, and this is effecting my love life, my family, and everything else. I want to set it as my main browser so I'm never triggered again, these settings are perfect :)

However, some simple features are missing, (most are excusable as I choose safety over comfort) but some are frustrating enough to make me consider reverting to a better browser. I can't keep it open for more than 5 seconds. App crashes EVERY time. It might be good, but unfortunately I cannot make use of it :(

I do really like this browser.. I am using the add ons/extensions from you guys for pc... I hope that you guys create a mobile browser porn blocker add on.. or improve the UI more... :D but so far.. double thumbs up for this app.. this app did its job.. :D But the problem is.. I can't watch youtube

This is a very useful browser for filtering out bad content. It has performed very well in the tests I gave it, even with google images, which tend to be overlooked in other apps. For a free internet filter, it can't be beat. One wish I have is the ability to have more than one tab open at once.

You need to have a feature that allows you to block certain words too. Some may not want to be able to access some things that others may. Just allow us to block certain key words that we don't want access to. Thank you

Have the Samsung Galaxy tablet and it works on the parent account fine but won't work on the kids account which is where I need it. Just says application stopped each time and closes when we try to open it.

The block everything works well, but when the 'blocked web page' appears you can access cloudacl web page and use social media buttons to access the web.

Disabled Chrome and made Safe Browser the default. I feel relieved and more at ease about letting my kids use tablets. Thx!

I downloaded it to my galaxy S5 then tried to access inappropriate web images and it did not blocked them. I also could not find the settings to adjust to have a stronger filter.
