School Ringer

School Ringer operates in the background, and will disable your mobile's ringer during school hours on school days. It can also be configured to disable the ringer during the night.

For disabling the ringer during school hours, the school day start and end times need to be set up along with the start and end dates of the school terms.

As an alternative to setting up the school terms, the "Use school day times even when no terms are configured" option can be checked. In this case every weekday is treated as a school day, and you can use the School Ringer master on / off switch to allow School Ringer to control the ringer.

Public holidays can also be entered, and on these days the ringer will not be turned off during school hours.

Note that all terms and public holidays will automatically be removed from the settings once they have expired.

Additionally, SMS messages can be set up that will allow the ringer to be turned on or off by an SMS message sent from another phone.

Unless the user interface is showing, School Ringer only runs very briefly each time the ringer is turned on or off. Consequently, School Ringer has minimal effect on battery drain.
