Cleveland Metroparks

Used it on my old phone and it worked great. I have the Moto X Force now and even though I'm standing in Bradley Woods, it says I'm outside the Cleveland area! App permissions and settings are correct. Very disappointed!

The app claims I'm not in Cleveland although I live in downtown and my phone location settings are correct. There doesn't seem to be a way to manually enter my location so I'm unable to actually use the app. Nothing will load since I'm "not local."

I volunteer with the CAMBA Mountain Bike Patrol at Bedford. We are asked to use this app for various functions including emergencies. I have tried installing several times. Each time, while standing in the Bedford Reservation, I open the app, I am told that I am "outside the Cleveland Area." I open up Google Maps, it shows exactly where I am. For some reason, it seems that the gps function works on only some phones. I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 with the latest software. A fellow patroller has a Samsung phone and the app works fine. This needs to be fixed so it will work for all phones.

At current state, do not bother installing it. This is just another google map kind of app. I am used to Summit Metropark app, and this is nowhere close to its usefulness.

I have a nexus 5x, I've tried downloading the app 3 times now, and it doesn't work. Keeps telling me I'm not near Cleveland when I'm definitely in the area. It won't let me download reservation maps either.

GPS not working

Very disappointed. The search function was terrible. Only the GPS enabled maps seem to work.

I downloaded the app so that I could chart distance and choose trails while actually in the woods. This app does not show all the connector and unmarked trails that the paper maps show. I also miss having the distance for different trail sections on the map so that I can make on-trail calculations and choices. I really hate the new map, and thus don't like the map. Still carry paper version with me.

Nice to have a way to get the up to date trail maps on the phone. One request I have is to be able to download all maps at once, instead of having to do one park at a time.

Sometimes we need to be reminded of how fortunate we are to live in Cleveland, Ohio!!

Poor design and blank screens make this of no value. A real surprise from an organization known for doing it right.

I hate that it saves map tiles without you asking it too. This app is no better than just going to google maps. Look at the summit county metroparks app and copy it please.

I'm stoked about this app. I've downloaded other trail maps and they just aren't the same as having one specifically for the metro parks. I'm excited to see where this will.

Yeah! Cleveland Metroparks has an app now!

I think it should delete the map tiles it saves when you close the app. Not necessary to save them all forever. Needs more work, and I hope they continue to evolve it.

There should be a calendar of Metroparks events. There should be a legend to the maps - all these different color and lines trails have no explanation. There should be a tool to get directions along trails only. Not good enough, Metroparks. Not good enough for planning activities. Not good enough for mapping a full tour de Emerald Necklace.

Easy to access needed info... wish it was a bit more detailed

Great App

Watch out for space usage. Just notice that it saves tiles to your phone.

This app will not let you move it to your SD card for storage purposes. Tiles/maps take up a lot of internal space needed for other already running apps. Maps are by region & limit your ability to explore before a visit to an area if you have limited data per month. One star for lack of flexability and data hogging.. either serve the maps to us when we are in the area of interest or allow us to run the app from & save the data to an SD card. Will change rating when option is added. Uninstall. HTC One M8
