About Axxess Updater
This app will allow you to update the firmware on most Axxess Interfaces. Just connect an On The Go (OTG) cable (part number AX-OTG1AN) and the update cable associated with the interface (Micro " B" or 4-pin boot loader cables).

Crashes on multiple phones and android versions. Crashes on connection to aswc-1. Very annoying and should have more stability testing before release.

Worked great with my Samsung Galaxy S8 and the OTG USB adapter it came with for transferring data from older phones. Used that with a plain micro USB cable, nothing special. Connected cable, turned on ignition, hit update. Bam, firmware started to download then install successfully. Allowed me to use my new pioneer Av receiver with my camry! It didn't work after I upgraded my head unit.. This did the trick.

Much easier to use than manually setting the buttons. **make sure you let it auto program before using this app to change the buttons**

Keeps telling me that there is no board connected, even though the ignition is on and the OTG cable is working. Response from customer service: "it should be working" but no help whatsoever. It was faster for me to program the steering wheel controls manually rather than getting frustrated with this app.

So I have been trying to use the app to map my control buttons. However, I bought the otg cable like it said I needed and I connect my phone. I have the aswc-1. I spoke to 2 different people on the customer service number and they were both rude and no help! If anyone knows how to fix the error " otg cable not recognized " my axxess is update to 4.08
