About CK 初一 十五
A simple widget that will highlight the 1st and 15th day of the lunar calendar month. Handy for people who needs reminder to take vegetarian food.
As this is a widget only application, to add widget, follow the following steps:
Android OS version 3.x or below:
Choose an empty space on the Home screen (1x1).
Tap the space and hold your finger there (long press) until the menu appears.
Alternatively, you can press the “Menu” button and then press the “Add” button that should now be available on the screen.
Both methods should have resulted in a pop-up menu-window labeled “Add to Home screen”. Tap the menu item labeled “Widgets”.
Then select "CK 初一 十五" to add the widget.
Android OS version 4.x or above:
Touch the All Apps icon on your Home screen.
Touch Widgets at the top of the screen.
From the main Widgets screen, you can swipe left or right till you find CK 初一 十五.
Touch and hold CK 初一 十五 widget's icon, slide your finger where you want to place it, and lift your finger.
Tap on widget to customize background, different days and month colour.
Capable of displaying actual day on notification panel.
Capable of displaying 12 upcoming first or fifteenth day for planning purpose.
Capable of providing an alarm reminder at the desired time on the actual day.

Like this app which is simple and serve the basic purpose. However, the widget took up 2x2 space when using Android Marshmallow with 5x5 layout. It was 1x1 when using my old phone installed with Android Jellybean/Kitkat set with 4x4 or 4x5 layout.

Good and I like it. But, can you make a size to suit 5x5 layout? 7/7:What I meant is that a smaller widget size (1x1) that suits 5x5 layout instead of for 4x5 only.

This is the best lunar calendar widget in the market. Simple and nice. But too bad that the widget date couldn't get updated/refresh by itself. So just useless if need to enter the widget setting each time to know the lunar date. Looking forward to see this solved.
