Honolulu 311 for Android
Automatic update of "referred to customer service," then "closed" without any follow up or fixing the problem. Pointless app and effort if the problems never get fixed.
Works well enough but why does the app have to download an attached picture that has already been downloaded and your just flipping your phone from landscape to portrait or vice versa? Kinda annoying. Everyone you rotate your phone or has to re-download.
Reported a street light that was out and three days later it is being fixed. So I'm incredibly pleased with this app. I'll update the next time I try it out again. Incredibly easy to use a well.
This app. doesn't erase delete after job has been completed. It has No Delete app in the request section.
Too much required ID. I'm reporting a street light out, not filling a police report.
why cant you report problem without a picture or viseo
App works great. But the response from the city is what sucks! Report a problem 6 weeks ago. In the app, the problem gets updated to "referred to dept" then updated to "closed". The problem is still there! Fricken 6 weeks! Close it when the problem is fixed. Idiots.
Referred to department sounds like we passed the buck. Why don't you require the referred departments to post action taken. Like the rat issue. Has the referred department set traps? Broken sidewalks referred but never fixed. What for the public is a reasonable time to expect broken sidewalks in the most visited area to be repaired. Appears this is a waste of resources
App allows me to file a complaint with results in less than 3 weeks, from start to finish! I love it and wish there was an option to contact the Mayor's office to recognize outstanding city employees!
I downloaded this app because it seemed like a great idea. You would think, just take a photo, explain the issue and report it via the app and it will get routed to the respective department within Honolulu..wrong, it doesn't..I submitted an issue with photos and the response was, " this issue falls under the state dept. of natural resources, to report issues, contact them at.. Hello!! I could have did that without an app to report city issues, is this app completely useless? Another fail C&C Honolulu.
Pathetic. I was happy to contribute and reported a problem. The response I got was to call a different department. You have the number and relevant information, take the initiative and make yourself. Trying to micromanage the user base is first sign of an incompetent staff.

Make a report and most the time they claim they didnt recd it. No one even bother to correct the problem you report and sometime you have to make 3-5 report before they even go out and check on the problem. This site is a joke. Wasting ppl time to report any problem on oahu.
Better updated then previous versions, HOWEVER: Still slow in loading, even with a strong internet connection... much slower in responding to issues (if at all)..looks like a lot of problems have gone unresolved (why make the app for?? I couldn't even leave a msg at the phone number online)..and why make a category for potholes, for instance, if you guys don't do anything with them? Ive never used the pothole category, but seen old issues in "my area" on the app that said to call some other number.
It freezes and sticks and doesn't search, it needs to be restarted frequently. Two very important app and needs to be looked at
You forward pictures about pot holes, graffiti, etc. Only to tell us we need to contact that department. Isn't that the whole purpose of the app, so that the information can be forwarded?
Great to see Honolulu is moving forward and trying to use technology productively. Hopefully responses will be timely and result in better infrastructure support.
Much better since the recent update! The map view works on HTC Evo now. The scrolling in List view still needs some work.
sucks, GPS is querky And app will force close at the end of every submission. Uninstalling another money pit disaster from the state of Hawaii
Force close when in Use Map. Not detecting address and Location correctly.Need better Update.
Has anyone seen results on the streets from this app? C&C work on pineapple time, is it possible??
I can't type/text a report (e.g., there's a dead cat on the corner of hardng & 7th ave)? I need to take a picture? I don't get it. This reminds me of DOE's ISPED. Good idea, lots of $, but nobody can use the dang thing.
Needs to be developed further. Too buggy.
the time. Need to install more software. Good idea though.
Cannot scroll through list view. Great concept, I am sure will get better after a few iterations.
Sucks
Can't scroll force close no work
Can't scroll through reports
Try to use camera to make report, freeze and or crash

I use the Tmobile Mytouch and have no issues with this APP. This is an excellent way to report minor problems in the neighborhood without having to find phone numbers or websites.
Finally!.....a low cost way for citizens of Honolulu county to connect with various agencies. Now if only we can get the agency that deals with potholes involved too. Mahalo!
Great app. Awesome response
Good App
Improvement from earlier versions
Thanks to Citysource for all the good your app has done for Honolulu. However, it seems that this app is not compatible with my phone, since it freezes when I've tried to send a report.
This app was a smart choice. Its quick and easy to get to, dont have to be put on hold. Dont need to be redirected or transffered. Just see the wrong doings or mishaps... Then voila... Maybe the proper authorities.will come on time... Then again maybe... NOT?
I Can Use It!
Sent in a pic of an abandon vehicle, sitting in the same spot for three months. Nothing happened for about three weeks. Then get a call claiming it was removed. Look out the window, still there. Five months and counting...

Ver. 1 was easier to set up and use. I used many times. Current ver. Is much less user friendly. For example it forces a complicated pass word. Try remembering that when you are biking and see a pot hole and discover it has "lost" your original. Or it does not show gps locations forces tedious addressing, cross streets and numbers. This should be very simple and quick. Instead it is discouraging.
