Military Body Fat Calculator for Android
This product does not follow Army standards for tape measurements
those that say this doesn't work are in denial you are FAT, hit the gym hard and maybe you can meet the ARMY WAY HOOAH!!
Body.fat calculation is not accurate
It feels so good to be so fat!
It does what it says. The good news is that it's more accurate than a simple BMI as it accounts that muscle weighs more than fat.
This app shows three 2007 standards, 8 years late!
Not based on ar 600-9 at all, not to mention that there is no use of centimeters in calculating body fat. Only reason I gave it one star is because I can't give zero.
I've use this app for at least a hundred Soldiers and it has always been to 600-9 standard. A tip for some of theese hooahs, change the default of cm's to inches.
Need to read the AR...the percentages are incorrectly stated. Max body fat allowed for a male over 40 is 26% not 30

Only thing I don't like is that the app gives 40 year old males the impression they can be up to 30 body fat. That's only true for initial entry. If you been in for more than a day you can only be closer to 25 percent.
Gave me the same body fat % that I got from a professional body analysis.
Females are measured at the chest I do believe.
Couldn't get it to work pizza ####
Your weight has no effect on the Army tape test.
It's okay I guess.
Does what it claims...gives really good body fat% idea
this was perfect right before i went up to meps to enlist it was dead on
It don't even ask for your weight
Worked for me. Seems accurate
While still a better representation than bmi, no algorithm is ever going to accurately measure fat content, but the army approximates this way
This app is extremely accurate. It actually gives the same percentage the recruiter stations give.
It does nnot allow u to enter age for a soldier so u have to guess the allowed BF
The only thing it really needs is to tell you what the max is and to do that it needs to ask age
Unit calculations r wrong if u input one in cm, other one in inches even though selecting/showing it right.
Works just fine was on the army fat boy plan cause of an injury and is accurate
Accurate within the percentage.
Broova !
I am a competitive cyclist and runner week works out with weights also 5 or 6 days a week. Caliper test I am just under 12% this has me at 46%.
This is not correct and built off 600-9. App needs work.
every weight in I have done in the army your weight is required! its all done in inches not cm. these are no longer the standards they changed in 2007
I work out constantly andI know I'm below 20% its accurate if you don't have allot of muscle
Include age, service break down and specific age group bf requirements. Maybe turn results red after they are posted and failed green if they pass.
I would have to agree that this app is accurate and your weight is not a factor in body fat calculation.
So easy a caveman could do it. Wish it let me put in age and showed me on line with min/max
Would be nice to be able save your information and edit it rather than having to reenter it every time.
Good to know if my gym fanatics will meet their weight standards.
It would be nice if you could select your branch of service and use the criteria for the particular banch of service. Especially Airforce!

Please take off cm , people will get confused, they will think it's not correct result. People are dumb you will be surprised how many people said this app is not good because they been using the cm measurement. They just too dumb to click on the cm to change to inches.
