Insulin Dose Calculator

I like that it is basic which makes it very easy to use. You only need some general info and it takes it from there. There are other apps with more features like graphs and trends and even food logs but many of those are just too confusing to me. Besides my endrocrinologist can download readings from my meter which will show trends. Also my meter has some nice features so I feel like I'm covered.

Even my newly diagnosed 8 year old knows how to work the app!!! So easy!!!!

Need to be available on iPhone !

No logic implementation with the food

Good app, you have to have an understanding of your insulin reaction and carb ratio before you can use this properly. This app has helped keep me from crashing and helped keep my sugars in check. Just like any other tool, if you don't know how to work it properly it won't help.

Inability to set as mmol means this calculator is of no use to diabetics outside of America

Always have crabs book in hand but this makes it so easy.whole family has this when they have my son.

Great app. Was using iPhone Diabetes Pilot for insulin doses. Just got HTC, closest app there is Sometimes dose is off 1 or 2 units. Needs fixing

Calulations sometimes incorrect. Not enough features. Need more tracking diabetic features. Uninstalled, using Droid MOTO Milestone

Truth this is not much better than a pocket calculator; It has no memory and I'm not really sure why it needs your location..... It uses "Ratio of Carbs to Insulin Units" which is the oppersite to what I'm used to so its not how many Units of Insulin do I take for 1CP but how many Carbs can I eat if I take 1 Unit of Insulin, which to be serious does not work! Its quite easy to convert but a little pointless. If you going to take a ratio you should after all take a ratio! User Interface is Ok but would be nice if the decimal point came up straight away rather than getting a telephone keypad which for entering numbers is a bit silly. This can't really score more than 1/5 it does not really do very much at all...

This app needs my location. How on earth is that related to my insulin dose? Wish I could adjust for Insulin already "on board": consider prior doses & duration of insulin action for insulin taken past 4 hours. Would like to set & save Carb Ratios & Correction Factors by time of day. Basic calculation worked for me.

New to all of this great app. I will pass this along to both my doctors.

Works well. Only confusion was the very last question. It's your correction ratio. For playtime I set to none and manually adjust later it as needed.

Works good, not sure about playtime corrections.

Works like charm my mom loves it and it motivates me to check my blood sugar more often.

Won't allow answers for all categories....doesn't work on Moto Droid...uninstall...

Good app. would b great if it could figure out how many carbs are in a certain food though. Because I dont know how many carbs are in every food.

Just needs to automatically manage multiple bolus ratios throughout the day
