What are users saying about Cisco Events

by C####:

It's good but should support storing data on SD card. So far it has 500MB and I keep running out of space, which stops other apps

R70%
by R####:

Evaluation section is awful. Hides the section for typing reviews into behind the pull-up keyboard. No way of seeing what you're typing. Tried to fix this by orienting phone to landscape - which then cleared all answers/responses that had been entered for that evaluation. Gave up in disgust.

C70%
by C####:

Seems like authentication service not up on this app !

Q70%
by Q####:

Is it not possible to use # in password!

C70%
by C####:

Hey the email component is kinda broken

C70%
by C####:

Like others, I can't login to the app, despite logging on OK on the web.

O70%
by O####:

This has made my journey through Cisco Live Berlin sooooo much easier!

C70%
by C####:

Made Cisco connect Nairobi way better.

C70%
by C####:

Can't login in

C70%
by C####:

I started up the app to do registration and had a plus 95% battery, minimized once complete. I pull my phone out after breakfast an hour later and it is down to 40... probably all the beacon crap. The last thing you want from an event app is for it to drain your battery.

C70%
by C####:

Can't log in. No matter what I get a "login failed" message when trying to sign in. Obviously I verified my username / password and I can log into the Cisco Live website just fine - but the credentials don't work within this app. In addition the app crashes a lot (even when simply trying to sign in). Overall not a good app at all.

B70%
by B####:

Can't Log in. I've seen this complaint already as well. I've made sure I was logged off the webpage and tried again. Still can't log in. Useless.......

Does not work when using marshmallow.

C70%

This is the best mobile app that Cisco has provided for Cisco Live.

N70%

Doesn't even have the Live event for next week. Update: vegas shows up now, but it will not sync my schedule or anything else beyond my name. Getting worse each year.

C70%
by C####:

This is a valuable tool for keeping your event schedule and other event information in sync. I'm giving this 3 stars because I had to Uninstall and Reinstall the application to get this year's Cisco Live event in Vegas.

Q70%
by Q####:

With Las Vegas this weekend, decided to try out the app to get some help for my first Cisco live. The website (which is pretty unusable as well) says this is the place to go! Well, the event isn't even listed. Nice!

F70%
by F####:

Is it really that difficult to update with the upcoming Cisco Live event in Las Vegas. Getting to my schedule on the web is difficult enough. It would be very handy to have access via the app leading up to the event.

O70%
by O####:

None of the the upcoming events are listed including Las Vegas 2016 in less than two weeks! This does me no good at all for keeping track of my schedule. WTF Cisco!

N70%
by N####:

Contacted Cisco Events team and was told to redownload after July 1st in order to see Cisco Live Las Vegas 2016 event. Did so on iPhone and worked like a charm. No such luck on Android. Event is still not listed.

C70%
by C####:

The app now works on my iPad but not my Android device. Makes no sense!

C70%
by C####:

What's the point of an event app that only has details of past events ?

C70%

Nuff said

Features of the Cisco Live Melbourne app were very comprehensive and well implemented; but the app pushed way too many notifications

T70%
by T####:

Slow, keeps crashing. Samsung recommends uninstalling. Session alerts are wrong due to incorrect timezone. Could be really good :(

L70%
by L####:

Crashes frequently, even when I'm not using it. Often crashes when attempting to start again. Smart Manager (Samsung) frequently complains that Cisco Events is causing my device to run slowly and using lots of battery.

T70%
by T####:

This is NOT app, this is link to web page with often unsupported content for Android devices! Worth product in my live I have seen from CISCO. Better remove CISCO name from this xxxx, named CISCO Events app! Spent 30 min trying to find place to LOGIN. Still proposes me to REGISTER... Sorry have to censor myself what I think about this product...

T70%
by T####:

Battery draining app which is exactly what you don't want when attending Cisco live all day.

T70%

Goes through periods of copiously crashing

Powerful apps

T70%

This application will update itself without going through the Google Play Store which means your device could get compromised. Starts as a service even though you haven't ever launched the application...

T70%
by T####:

The designers need to think harder about what people want from an event app, rather than just adding functions that don't work well together. There's not enough space to describe all the shortcomings, though the updates feature deserves special mention as particularly bad. And after running for the first two days, it now crashes repeatedly and is unusable. Not good.

T70%
by T####:

Why isn't it possible to do the updates just in the background over wireless without annoying the user every 10 minutes and even to annoy with a successfull conplete messages??? JUST DO IT! PERIOD! Why does the agenda always jump to the first day instead of the current day and hour? Would be nice if it would be possible to klick on URLs the speaker have posted or to copy/paste it.

E70%
by E####:

Gives too many useless notices with no way to moderate them and crashes on Cm12. CM11 is OK but still annoying app.

I70%
by I####:

There are buttons in the different screens but they aren't defined. I clicked on a button and was removed from a session that I already had scheduled. When I tried to use that same button to add it back immediately after being removed, the session was full. There needs to be a confirm box before removing you from sessions. And possibly labels on what certain buttons are, since I was concerned to click any other buttons after that.

T70%
by T####:

Works well on my Note3. I no longer need to print my sessions and event info to carry around.

T70%
by T####:

Good lord this thing has to update a lot. I get an update notification at least every 90 minutes and if I ignore it, it keeps re-notifying. I guessing every time they make a change in schedule or speaker they have to push a whole new database which is a terrible way to operate. Its extremely useful but extremely annoying!

Z70%
by Z####:

Constantly updating with useless information. No way to turn it off or block messages. Its an overzealous notification nightmare.

T70%
by T####:

The app is fine for keeping you informed about the event. But, the update method is awful, and constantly notifies you about updates. Update alerts occur every few minutes during Cisco Live. If I didn't need my schedule and a map I would have uninstalled. For Cisco to preach cloud and then deploy this garbage system of updating data is ridiculous.
