This way of doing configuration is not Cisco's way...this application doesn't work at all on my Android. Put the priming configuration directly on WLC. Thank you!

Q70%
by Q####:

Doesn't work. Crashes and can't connect. iOS app works flawlessly.

Q70%

Always appear error timed out.. its annoying..

Nexus 6p 7.1.1. crashes or does not connect

Q70%
by Q####:

Crashed every time you login into AP.iPhone app got me primed at the first time.

Q70%
by Q####:

make rooted devices available!!!! where is the problem to provision APs via Webinterface in WLC???? dumb-ass app I have ever seen in 2015

Q70%
by Q####:

Sucks !!!!! can't believe Cisco would put garbage like this on the play store. In fact Google please remove this garbage as Cisco seems to be bais and favors the iPhone more. When I last checked their were way more system engineers (CCNA, CCDP and CCIE) that use Android then iOs and this is the way Cisco rewards it's certfication community.

Q70%
by Q####:

I tried for 40 mins connecting to a factory AP, apart from seeing the SSID, nothing else worked. Phone froze a few times, had no choice but to reboot. Had to configure AP via Web browser.

Q70%
by Q####:

I can connect to the UX ap then the app disconnects me and asks for a password only. Tried on my iPhone and works no problem.

Q70%
by Q####:

Does not work on Android 6.0.1. Won't allow you to enter the full credentials to the AP, just asks for a password that without the username won't work. Had to borrow a co-worker's iPhone... Fix this Cisco!!!

F70%
by F####:

Really? This app is horrible not working properly I am getting invalid password on my phone but apple ios works fine but you can't choose the unprimed ap's ssid. Cisco tac tries but it is nothing they can do.

Q70%
by Q####:

This does not work. It lists available AP's, when you attempt to attach to the universal AP it asks for the "Wi-Fi Password" then errors with incorrect password. Had to use customers iPhone to get this working!!!!!

P70%
by P####:

Absolute garbage. Can not connect at all. Looks like Ubiquiti is the way to go. Their phone app is vastly superior to Cisco's.

E70%
by E####:

Crashes as soon as I open it. Also crashes on my coworker's phone. Really, Cisco??

Q70%
by Q####:

When I try connect to AP. App force close by itself everytime, cannot config anything.

Q70%
by Q####:

Crashes constantly and takes so many attempts to actually prime an AP. Such a rubbish process, poor form Cisco

Q70%
by Q####:

says WiFi password is incorrect, however same password works on other devices.

K70%
by K####:

Crab software. Often crashes. Fail fail to Connect to ap's. No option to reset software.

Q70%

It always give me mock location disabled whenever i ran the app.

Q70%

WAKE UP CISCO FIX THIS APP! This application does not work on Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V, Android version 6.0.1, Android security patch level June 1, 2016. I opened a case with Cisco and the answer was to use an iPhone! I used an iPad with Cellular and it worked as designed. This lack of support for Android is unacceptable for deployment engineers. It is very unprofessional to have to ask the customer if they have an iPhone so we can configure there new Cisco projects. Wake UP CISCO

I am trying to provision Cisco 2702 universal access points in Kuwait but I'm getting message "Regulatory Domains for this Universal AP are not available. The AP cannot be configured." Opened a case and still no fix.

Z70%

Says it cannot start cause my android is rooted. My phone is not rooted!

S70%

The app finally works (crash issue fixed) after last update. +1 for removing CCO requirement. But it's still idiotic that you need a smartphone to prime UX ap's in the first place.

K70%
by K####:

The app keeps crashing and never worked for me

C70%
by C####:

An app just to set region which the wlc has or could control? At least the cco requirement was removed. Although the cisco docs still list it as a requirement.

As I and my IT colleagues mostly have rooted androids(we need more tuning and staff then provided by default), so it was pretty hard to find not rooted one. But it was not even over when we found first: first two not rooted androids just crushed on login attempt... nice! 3rd one was somehow recognized as rooted(while it wasn't). 4th - again crushes. Thx for the pain in the butt... Disappointed in Cisco service for a first time. Sad. OK, it appears problem in CCO account. You should be a customer, employee or smthing like that. Still pretty lame not to give any error and just crush app. But i change from 1 up to 2 out of 5. If Cisco will fix it, i'll be eager to give it 5 out 5.
