text-STAR for Android
This app is phenomenal. I read that others had initial setup issues but mine was fine...I have the Galaxy s4 maybe they had iPhones?
Great idea and well done. I am uninstalling however due to the constant nagging to turn on GPS. I don't leave my GPS on when I'm not travelling and being prompted to do so every few min is more irritating and an unnecessary battery drain.
I just downloaded this app and created an account, but now whenever I try to log in on my LG Optimus C, it says that ot can't communicate with the server.

But eats battery quick....always looking for gps lock. Uninstalled.
I am seeing that whenever this app send auto-response, it sends it twice in a row. It never use to do this. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars for what it does.
10/11/14 app sends text messages when gps is disabled and i am stationary. No pattern to the glitch.t. Other than that, it does what it is advertised to do.
Would really like to see a notification icon that let's you know if text-STAR is active or not. I wonder if it thinks I'm driving when I'm not and if people will get my auto reply when they really shouldn't. Would be a really nice little feature.
Seemed to work as advertised, but am on my sixth hour of trying to get out of an infinite loop after test texting myself. Open to using again if the bug is fixed.
Really like the ability to auto reply when app senses driving. Will give 5 starts when app can read texts and callers aloud to you. Also would be nice to be able to edit pre-filled auto replies (at movies, etc). Thanks!
Users outside of US cannot register on app or website. Until fixed, don't waste time.
This is great. I love it. Have been using it for 6 months not only to prevent distracted driving but also at work place during meetings to send out auto responses. Thank you for building this :)
I'd love to try the app, but it keeps telling me that my registration failed to save. I didn't want to give it 1 star because I haven't actually seen it work yet, but it's got to be low because it's broken.
Sent text msg back for calls but not texts. Did not silence either.
I was hopeful the issue would be rectified after 3 months. Was looking forward to using the app.
Won't let me register, says failed to save every time, uninstall.
I can just throw cell in my glove box while I drive now with no worries. Its most excellent!

Continues to notify to turn GPS on. Don't want it on all the time so have to uninstall
Great digital assistant! Like the idea of insurance co,s using the scores as website describes.
Great idea! Keep the roads safer, get a insurance discount, help rates to drop, stay alive longer. Smart thinking.
The app performs as advertised. In fully automatic mode, it engages while I'm driving and let's my friends know I can't reply to their texts. If I'm busy I can simply engage Manual mode then select a response and the app does its magic. A very useful app.
This app did what it promises to do, but it also made my GPS go haywire, trying to find my position every few seconds, even when off in manual mode, EVEN WITH MY PHONE IN AIRPLANE MODE. This was a huge drain on my battery. This was as a deal breaker. Uninstalled. Galaxy S3
I turn off applications to conserve energy like the GPS function when I am in the house or at work. The program reminds me every ten minutes that GPS is not engaged. Even when I turned the program off, it still chimed every ten minutes. That too, drained my battery. I uninstalled it. Other than that, it does what it is advertised to do.
Works as advertised
Same issue can't register on stratosphere 2.

Everyone who drives needs the app on their Android phone. Don't text and drive!
