Cineplex Store

All I wanted was a scene card app. It keeps sending me to this and the process to sign up was ridiculous long only to find out that it is not the app I wanted.

We tried it on our LG tv didn't work. We tried the Android App as well as one on Apple Play store. Sadly, I still have a couple of movies rented that I can't watch.

Tried numerous times to sign in but just won't happen, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times but every time I try to sign in or register device I get the same message. System currently experiencing difficulties try again later. This is a pain in the @$$

I can watch my rental movie

Great app! Was able to easily rent and stream a movie through Chromecast. Only hiccup was having to go through the Cineplex website to update payment info, but that wasn't hard. Otherwise just as easy to use as Google Play Movies or iTunes.

Used to have scene info and barcode. Now you need a second app.

Can't sign in because there's a device limit. That's silly.

I'm just adding the app now so I'm not yet familiar with the contents of the app and benefits, etc.

I can't watch my rental. Runs on app but keeps crashing when I try to Chromecast from tablet or phone. Brutal.

On the website, I sign in using my Google account. The app doesn't give that option, so I can't sign in.

Seems like the more Cineplex becomes richer their services and Rewards become shittier and we the consumers end up paying for it.

Unfortunately, we ran into multiple difficulties accessing a rented movie and were unable to watch it, despite paying for it; what made it more frustrating was calling customer service to find that no one would be available until the next day. This was not a user-friendly experiences.

Wouldn't let me sign in. When you click sign up it refers you to the web browser which sign in normally. Reset my password sends me to the web browser which is already logged in. Useless

I rented an HD movie on this app to watch on my Chromecast. The movie would stay in HD quality for 3-4 seconds at a time, then scale back to really poor quality, then medium quality for around 60 seconds until the quality dropped again. My internet speed is good enough to handle HD streaming and my Chromecast sits at half a meter from the router. These issues never happen on YouTube or Netflix. The only reason to rent movies on this app is to watch movies that are still on theaters but already available on the app and not anywhere else. But beware that you're going to have a terrible experience if you want to watch on the big screen TV.

The app is ugly. I'm using a Nexus 6p and it is forced in portrait mode causing everything to looked stretched and ugly. Having choices is good being forced to use something restrictive is never going to win you points

This app stinks It rarely works with a tablet. I can only watch a movie with my Roku and regular TV. You would think that, if they want to make money the service would be much better. Then again go to a cineplex theatre and watch commercials for many minutes before you see what you paid for.

Cineplex Store is the BEST movie app!! So much better then iTunes!

Not sure why all the low ratings. Perhaps bugs have been fixed recently. THE APP RUNS PERFECTLY ON MY LG G3. I just got it today, logged on, all my content there and purchased a new movie and watched it no problems. It even asks first to use cellular data for streaming. Only suggestion, I'd like direct access to my account profile and info to make changes etc.

Casting wasn't working at all. Ruined 2 rentals

I used to access this service through their website using Google login. I paid for a movie and am trying to return to watch the other half (within the 48hr limit) and it says I need to download the app to watch my rentals. I downloaded the app but I can't sign in. I can't sign in with Google nor can I create a new account.

Worst App. Paid for a movie rental but can't sign in!!

App lets me watch movies when connected to WiFi. No option to download movies for off-line viewing on my phone. Yet there is a section to view movies that have been downloaded. The only reason I installed app is to download movies to watch off-line

It won't let me log in, I can log in fine on the website by facebook but this app doesn't support that.

i was renting logan and while i checked how to play i hit download when i deleted it i didnt know it would take away my rental. now i cant watch this. thanks cineplex you ripped me off! ????

Can't sign in! Can log in on the main website using FB. Read below that someone else is also having the same problem. Your reply was to go to personal information and change the password, but doing so and using my password from my FB account says the password is incorrect. Need to fix or I delete the app all together. If you can log in using FB or any other account you should be able to do the same on the app.

Can't even sign up. Website and app are glitchy and retro.

I like it, but trying to find something to rent is a pain. The developer needs a filter to sort by movies available for rent.

The app caches partial downloads to the internal storage, even if external storage is selected in the settings. This is a problem for those with insufficient space in internal storage for even the caching files. Please modify the app to cache partial downloads to the external storage instead.

This app is full of bugs. Very frustrating to use. If you try to log in or cast. You really want to break the tablet up. The playback is really bad. Sometimes it is impossible to watch your rented movie. The person that write this app should be fired.

not just the app, but the entire service is terrible. rented a horror movie, which is the proper movie when viewing from the app, but its showing a comedy movie on my T.V.

Worthless app. So inept that it couldnt/wouldnt even take my money. Tried purchasing star wars...didnt work. Inept piece of app garbage that will soon fade into obscurity. Nice job

I have a 4K smart tv with the app on it. I signed up to Cineplex on my phone in 10 mins with my credit card and SCENE card attached with no issues. Rented the movie "UP" with no issues and I checked my account and 80 SCENE points added to my card sooooooooooo whoever is giving these bad reviews are obviously retarded. Step your game up, get with the times and still complaining about how easy it used to be to rent from blockbuster... Step your game up.

Can't cast to my TV. If you want to change any information, add credit cards scene card etc you have to create an account and use their super slow website. Not worth the hassle.

Worst way to watch your bought/rented movies. FPS drops are attrocious.
