What are users saying about CIMA FM

Great content but horrible design. putting lots of efforts in wrong places. All those animations and layouts makes sense only if we can read them easily. Looks like more importance is given to appearance than functionality. Please improve design to read easily on a smartphone. Refer to The Economist app. That's a great design and very similar to our magazine.

C70%
by C####:

Needs a rethink - slow... the product ought to just work. The table of contents needs to me more than a mishmash of colour. One Hundred Megabytes per magazine? File compression does exist and size matters. It should be possible to swipe through to the articles - not possible.. The biggest let down has to be slow response. But there's no choice...

by V####:

This is a stain on the good name of CIMA. Sluggish performance, can't resume, can't use SD, don't do well downloading in the background and can't archive. It's a mobile app for God's sake

W70%
by W####:

It is so user unfriendly that I barely use it although I'm interested in the content. Really shame.

D70%
by D####:

Guys! the context speaks for itself, just get us simple layout to read it. Let's benchmark with the Economist's app which is great to read on every device.

C70%
by C####:

Difficult to scroll and enlarge the text. Content is good design is not user friendly. Performance is terrible.

B70%
by B####:

Poor design layout totally destroys good content. Virtually unusable. A simple monthly .pdf emailed monthly would be far better.

C70%
by C####:

Even on a 10 Inch tab it's unusable

Y70%
by Y####:

Content and themes are unmatched and great but it is only data eater app I don't understand how an elite institute approved it as official app.

C70%
by C####:

Stop the interactive and make it easily readable and simple.thanks

It will tell you how to manage financial business and really will help those who really has problem in this .so it is my recommendation to download it who has problem in this!! But one problem is data is too large around 85 mb it must be below 50 one that's it!!

K70%
by K####:

The font in the articles is far too small to read and there are no options for magnification. If you can't do it properly then go back to delivering it in the post, afterall, we are still paying you for this content albeit indirectly via our subscription fee.

After the recent update, have to re-download all the magazines again. To add salt to the wound, since Nov 2015, can't download anything anymore. This is totally ridiculous

G70%
by G####:

No screen rotation- if there, it will be convenient to read and font size need not be changed... waiting for an update desperately.

T70%
by T####:

This app consumes a huge deal of time, not able to download at times and having to keep my screen on while downloading is sick, please facilitate the app to download in the background. I have had this same issue since the launch of this app. More than a year, yet no improvements! A huge disappointment.

T70%
by T####:

You would have thought that if anyone was going to test a product properly before release it would be CIMA. Everything is too small on my phone, each magazine *uncompressed* takes up 200mb and the adverts are a huge part of that. I'll uninstall until they get this sorted, because I don't want the magazine to become a chore. EDIT: 19/11/15 tried again and it has got worse. In addition to being too small the articles don't render properly.

The store just dont update or refresh. Its stuck in Feb15. And i cant download rest of publication. Just 2 publications in 2014.

This is a wonderful facility CIMA is providing to its stakeholders. Now you can learn and keep yourself updated all the time with just a touch of your thumb...!!! Keep it up CIMA

This app is not suitable for a smart phone. I own a Samsung S5. Downloading the magazine is not a problem. But I just cannot view/read the complete article!!!

T70%
by T####:

Great app, but since receiving the Android update to 5.0.1, formatting fails completely. Unable to read anything.

T70%
by T####:

Cima keeps on increasing the subscription but has stopped sending printed version to the members and students who keep it above guillotine. Shame on cima. People are suffering to pay subscription but now an extra burden of buying a tab. Fcuk

F70%
by F####:

Need a magnifying glass to read, no way to increase text size, the text is confined to half the screen. Also have to download a large file for each month, I don't have the space on my phone. Gave it 6 months but problems have not been fixed.

Z70%
by Z####:

Since April 2015, my app hasn't been able to download any new editions and its August 2015....app for smartphone was a good idea but for magazines, PDF versions would have been better.

T70%
by T####:

total cannot download for more than 1 year ++, waste money, i more prefer in hardcopy

Q70%
by Q####:

CIMA failed in a key topic it assesses students on; Systems Implementation and Change management !! How many students or members were consulted or took part in the design and testing phase of this project? What considerations were made for those of us in 3rd world nations not adept with technology or graced with 10inch tablets. App design and content is good but CIMA should have considered other factors before refusing student's the print edition.

A70%
by A####:

Had to uninstall and reinstall just to get May 15 edition showing. Now content is oversized so cannot read properly. Using Samsung Galaxy S6, so not a rare phone. Shame, because this app has the potential to save CIMA a lot of paper and printing costs, and reach a wider audience.

E70%
by E####:

I don't own a tablet and i find there is too much content to read properly on my phone. Not to mention my phone's screen is too small. Also the files are too large and chew through all my storage space on my phone. Finally I download editions and then i find out later that I have to re-download them if I havent used the app in a while or there has been an update. This chews through my data. It would be great if the magazine was available for download so I can at least read it on my PC. CIMA are limiting their audience to just tablet users only. This Sucks

Q70%
by Q####:

Illegible text (text overlaid on other text, or too small font, or text runs off the screen), and large download sizes, make the app totally unusable. This app is not fit for purpose. Please go back to the drawing board and make a simple text displaying app that people can actually use. The app should be about delivering quality content rather than pretty design. Currently it delivers neither.

Q70%
by Q####:

The last edition I have is Feb. Unable to download March and I am unable to access April onwards.

Q70%
by Q####:

The May 15 update just cause the app to crash on my phone. Please make this optional and bring back our printed version. In any case it's too cumbersome to navigate on S5 Mini

Half a year after the nexus 9 originally came out and the magazines load in a haphazard and impossible to read format. Also, the text is very large. Is it just the nexus 9 or have you considered tablets at all?
