Meld Peld calc

Calculates MELD (Model for End-stage Liver Disease) and PELD (Pediatric End-stage Liver Disease) scores.
MELD score il calculated according to the original formula and to the modifications introduced by UNOS.
MELD = 3.78 × ln [serum bilirubin (mg/dL)] + 11.2 × ln[INR] + 9.57 × ln[serum creatinine (mg/dL)] + 6.43
1 If the patient has been dialyzed twice within the last 7 days, then the value for serum creatinine used should be 4.0
2 Any value less than one is given a value of 1 to prevent the occurrence of scores below 0.
PELD = 4.80 x [ln Serum bilirubin (mg/dL)] + 18.57[ln INR] - 6.87[ln albumin (g/dL)] + 4.36(<1 years old) + 6.67(growth failure)
