About Physics Toolbox Gyroscope

This app measures and displays a graph of Angular Velocity (rad/s) vs. Time (s) that can be exported to Google Drive or in an e-mail as a .txt attachment with comma separated values (csv). This gyroscope can be used to measure rotational and/or periodic changes in the x, y, and z planes.



Permissions Explained:


android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: A csv file is created and modified on the phone's internal memory.

Very useful for devs to study the output. Interesting to see the "rebound" from a particular sharp motion. The graph spikes one way and then the other when the user brings the device back to neutral. Thanks for this great developer tool.
