Uconnect® Access for Android
I signed back up for my services mainly to update the navigation. Of course it does not work. Nor does anything else. Location still doesnt work. Is there another option. I'm about to stop paying as well. Location does not work. I can't sync my mobile apps anymore. The option is not even there for me to do so. This app always has some type of issue. I won't even start in in the navigation. To think I was about to upgrade and pay for a year!
Mainly use this application to use the remote start and Pandora. I understand why the remote start takes about a minute to start the vehicle, so I have no issue there... My issue is with via mobile and playing Pandora in my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk... It has not worked once... I click via mobile setup and it says phone is not ready... But when I restart my phone and open the application, the connection is there... I'm fairly certain it is not intentional to have to restart my phone EVERY TIME I would like to use this application...
I am currently trying to set the app up. I an currently under a year trial period I'm am trying to get it to register my vehicle and it won't do it. I called the u connect store using the assist button, the guy who answered was rude and bot very helpful. Don't think I'll be renewing my sub. When. The app was working it was very useful.
I haven't been able to access this app in weeks. Everytime I attempt to access Pandora I have to log out and log in. Now I can't even log in. Terrible customer service. When you call them, the wait is long, just so someone can tell you they cant help you. My wife doesn't have these issues with her Accord. Maybe I should get a Honda myself.
This app needs major work. Mostly use it to listen to Pandora. And when the car is turned off the link between connect and Pandora is lost and one needs to reconnect. And most often the message "App Error" appears. I used the Assist button and asked for assistance but issue continues. I think it's a developer issue.
I loved the app and my Uconnect system in my truck. You updated my software and now it is horrible. I have not said a good thing about the system since the update. I can't connect to Pandora or Iheart radio at all through my truck. The voice now sounds so bad, I hate hearing it. The screen is no longer user friendly. I want to older version. Some of the new features are cool If You subscribe to satalite radio, I don't. Hate the update, hate it!
Please fix. I use the app to listen to Pandora and now it just got worst. I got a email that they needed my Vin # I sent it and till today it still doesn't work. It still says no app connected? That The app needs to be download to device which I do have in my phone but it just doesn't work. !!!
Very limited. Can only start and turn off vehicle sound horn and lock unlock doors. And its very very slow. Takes like 2 min to start truck with it. I thought i would be able to turn heated seats on maybe turn tne heater up or down. Just not that good of an app. Could be a lot lot better
Horrible. Somehow my keys got locked in the vehicle.. no worries, I'm only in the ghetto. So I'll unlock remotely from the app.... Fail.. eventually I get help and get it home. Still doesn't work.. support can't figure it out. Worthless
I am having the same issues as everyone else! I have to log out and log back in for my Pandora to work. Once I do the app only plays a couple of songs before it errors out. I called the assist they started a ticket over two weeks ago but have heard nothing since. I would not recommend this app to anyone!
There is no "sync mobile app" option under the drop down menu any more. It just went away. So I can not link my mobile apps. What is going on? Where is the mobile setup?
I think its stupid if you think about the previous models that have UCONNECT when this was launched a update for previous models should had also. Now i would have to get a 2017 30k vehicle just to enjoy this app. I love the Chysler i already have with UCONNECT why should i need to buy a new one
That app is okay sometimes... If something were to happen in which I have to find the truck I would have to work hard to get the app to find it.. have to log out several times to get it to work... When I finally get it to do what it is supposed to do it works fine... Need to get the bugs worked out... I am paying a monthly fee for this as well...
Absolute garbage. Have to log out and log back in every single time I start truck. God help me if it just craps out which it does often while driving when I do get it to work. Literally have to turn truck off and redo said steps to make it work. Toyota entune is light years ahead of this garbage app. Entune literally starts up my Pandora at start up if that was last thing listening to when vehicle shut down. Judging from all the negative reviews it doesn't seem to be of any concern to fix issues by the uconnect team.
When this app works it is pretty decent. My issue, and it's a major one, is that literally every single time I turn my vehicle off I have to log out and log back into the app. Not once in a while to make sure it's me, but every time. If that were fixed I would consider a 3 or 4 star rating.
I have a 3 month free trial and i am unable to even use the features of lock, unblock, auto start. They always time out. I got the first monthly health report and stool haven't been able to use the apps features. I will not be purchasing the subscription just to have the app not work. Never had these problems with AllStar.
Much like a lot of the other reviews I've read, I'm having issues with Uconnect. I have to repeatedly log in and out of the app to get Pandora to work. It never ever works on the first attempt. After about 3-4 songs on Pandora it will lose connection. I will have to enter 'settings' to force stop. Then reboot the app and cross my fingers that it will restart. It rarely does. I will not consider a vehicle with Uconnect on my next purchase.
Needs much improvement. iheart radio is not listed im the Via Mobile section of the app. I "unlinked it" as I was trying to fix the constant "app error" message. Now it is gone, and I have no idea how to get it back. Pressing the "assist" button and speaking to somebody live was no help. ????
Worst app and connection to my phone ever! Causes more driver distraction. Chrysler should fire entire IT team and start over. Next car will have better technology.
The service has worked very well over the past two years I've owned my RAM 1500. The only drawback have been a few, less than 10, times one of the remote services failed. However after a second attempt they worked. Overall very satisfied.
I gavevit a 1 star before. I wish i could now give it 0 stars. I quit pating you guys my money again because you somehow managed to make the app worse than before. I have to restart my phone or log out and relog in to get it to play pandora. Everything was timing out before it would do any remite functions. I think ill pay the 1000 for an aftermarket radio with cd player
Previously worked great. Not sure if it's due to the most recent update, but voice to text function no longer works, radio apps are no longer showing up on my Uconnect app so I am unable to link. I've uninstalled the app & re-installed, hoping to resolve with no success. Very frustrating considering this service requires a monthly subscription
Was thinking about renewing, it's pretty expensive for what you get. Then read reviews about how bad the app has gotten. FSA better figure this out. The cost/benefit was borderline as it is, now I'll just keep my $ in my pocket.
After I upgraded to a newer phone I lost the picture of my Dodge Rebel. I have called and no one knows why? All I want is the picture of my truck like it used to be. Not asking much and should be a simple fix.
This should be done so much better than it is. I'm looking forward to the day I can get Android Auto on my dash. Would be a vast improvement over this embarrassment
This app is very very simple: a fuel gauge, mileage, tire pressure, and remaining oil life. Remote controls are different than the fob: lock/unlock, start/stop the engine, flash lights/horn. And a location map. That's it. All of this and it STILL doesn't show current state: What is the lock/engine actual status?? Is my engine running? Is the car locked? Who knows. Sad this info is missing.
It's useless if you have a base model vehicle. You need navigation in your car in order to use send n go and yelp. You also need a remote starter in order for it to work on the app. If you dont have navigation already in your car you gotta go to the dealer and pay $500-600 for the upgrade and $300-400 for the remote start. So I won't be getting this app..
Zero functionality with dealership and zero ability to schedule service. No value add, just look at y our vehicles dashboard every once and awhile. Always lost connection, $150/year waste of money.
Try again. The new update fixed nothing. Still will gives an error every time unless you start from phone. Still freezes after a few songs on Pandora. Streaming with bluetooth works great. FCA needs to refund me some money for basically removing a feature from my vehicle!
Ok, so this app used to work. I will say the update looks nicer and does offer new features however some of the old features appear to no longer work. Send destination to vehicle has stopped working on both my android and Apple product. Very frustrating when attempting to set a destination while on the move.
Previous versions of the app worked flawlessly! Recent versions are complete GARBAGE! Currently everytime I want to use the app to listen to Pandora or iHeart Radio, I have to log out of the app and log back in! Very time consuming when you're on the go! In can open Pandora or iHeart and listen via Bluetooth, which is what I've done! I gave up on the app long ago. Just noticed there was an update and I get the same results, I'll stick to my Bluetooth. Also would give it 0 "stars" but can't! Where is the R&D at with the app, come on get it together!!!
The idea is great. But I hate that I have to force close it before I input an address...I use the GPS ALOT...NOW I HAD TO UNINSTALL it because it's not pulling up any addresses that I type in. Hopefully when I open it again it'll go back to "normal"
This app use to be okay and useable. It has turned into useless garbage. It seems like I have to sign out and sign back in any time I want to use it for anything. The vehicle info won't update, and none of the lock, remote start, etc. functions work more than once if I don't sign out and back in. When it worked, it was good enough to use, but at this point, I'm not going to renew the subscription once my trial period ends.
I've used this app for a year with my 2016 jeep cherokee and it does all I need but the interface isn't the most intuitive I've ever seen. I actually finally just figured out how to make the send and go feature work but I had to reference you tube to see how to use it. So 3 stars but I'd give it more if the interface was improved.
The only functionality that seems to work is the remote locks and start. I've constantly had troubles with my Pandora account, and now it won't work at all. Please fix this.
I love the Uconnect access i had the trail period when i 1st bought my car and have a 1 mo trail again. My complaint is I have remote start yet i don't have it in the app. I have tried reinstalling the app over and over no luck so far. Why is this?
This app just keeps getting worse. At first, Pandora would just quit playing after 1 or 2 songs and I would have to re-sync the uconnect app after each couple of songs. Now, the mobile setup has completely disappeared. Why aren't there any notifications going out about changes and known issues?!
While it's nice to be able to start my car from my phone, but it sucks that it can take up to five minutes to start, if it starts at all. Most of the time it starts in about two minutes. The really crappy part is that I can't stop the emails for remote services messages. I uncheck the box, tap back since there is no button to save the settings, go back in and the box is checked again. There is no way to stop it from sending an email every time I try to start my car from my phone.
Map won't load and won't lock/unlock doors. App is completely useless. You'd think with a $50k+ truck everything would work the way it's supposed to, even the accompanying app.

This app could be great...it has all the necessary options, but I mostly use it for the auto start in the winter. The response time is too long, sometimes taking up to a couple minutes to go through. But worse, sometimes it will confirm the vehicle has started, but then I get to my car and it's not even on! I live in Alaska where it gets in the negatives temps and auto start is essential and needs to be reliable. If this app is the only way to use the Uconnect Access Advantage service, I will be discontinuing my subscription.
